Felix' POV
Jessica has been unconcious for 3 days now. I've been crying so much that I don't have any tears left to cry. For the last days I haven't left the room once. When she wakes up I want to be right next to her, so that what she sees first is a familiar face. After a while of holding her hand while sitting next to her, I fell asleep. Until a scream wakes me up.
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP! NURSE! DOCTOR! ANYONE!" All of the screaming must have hurt, because she flinches.
"Are you okay?" I stand up and put my hand on her forehead.
"Stay away from me!" She slaps my hand away. When seeing the fear in her eyes, I decide to take a few steps back.
"Jessica... It's me Felix." Doesn't she recognize me?
"Who is this Jessica you keep talking about?" Is she playing with me right now?!
"You are."
"You have the wrong person. I think I would know if my name is Jessica." She really seems to have forgotten it.
"Then what is your name?"
"You think I would give my name to a stranger?" I chuckle. "You think this is funny?!"
"No it's just that you're still the exact same person." A nurse comes in.
"Can you please leave the room sir? I think you might be stressing her out."
"Oh right, sorry. Please tell me when I can come in again." I walk out of the room. What's wrong with Jessica? Why did it seem like she didn't recognise me? The nurse walks out of the hospital room. "And?"
"I'm afraid I have some bad news: she has lost her memory."
"What? What do you mean 'She has lost her memory' ?"
"She can't remember anything, not even her name."
"But I thought you had run some tests. Shouldn't it have shown up on the results?"
"Whatever caused her to loose her memory, it can't be detected by scans."
"Then what could have caused it?"
"That, I don't know. I will report to the doctor and see what we can find out for you." I give the nurse a grateful nod. "For now I think it's best if you tell her who she is." The nurse walks away. She doesn't remember me... She doesn't remember the kiss... Without warning I start crying. After about five minutes I walk back into her room.
Jess' POV
When I open my eyes I look around me. I'm in a hospital room. Only then I notice that a man is sleeping on a chair with head on my bed. I scream. The man jumps up. "HELP! SOMEONE HELP! NURSE! DOCTOR! ANYONE!" A sudden pain shows up all over my body and I flinch.
"Are you okay?" The man runs over to me and puts his hand on my forehead. As quickly as I can I slap his hand away.
"Stay away from me!" He takes a few steps back.
"Jessica... It's me Felix."
"Who is this Jessica you keep talking about?"
"You are."
"You have the wrong person. I think I would know if my name is Jessica."
"Then what is your name?"
"You think I would give my name to a stranger?" He chuckles. "You think this is funny?!"
