Dead but not really dead

Meredith didn't said anything. She just stare at her. Her person was dead but not really dead and now it was in her power to disconnect the machines that were keeping her alive, because she was her medical proxy. She page Owen but he hasn't arrive yet. Alex decided to give the twisted sisters a last moment together.
"Cristina" Meredith said "Cristina" she repeated
"It's okay. I will take care of Owen" and a tear slipped from her face
"You are my person, you will always be my person. Nobody will replace you. I love you Cristina Yang" Meredith said and at that exact moment Owen came and he stare at her. Meredith look at him.
"I will give you two a moment" Meredith said. Owen stare at her while silent tears slipped through his face.
"We never had our proper goodbye. You said we will get our big goodbye later. And now I have to say goodbye to you. Forever. I am not okay with this, I wanted to have our lifetime. Our 40 years. And I still can feel your lips with mine like we kiss this morning. I love you Cristina Yang" Owen said to her when he was interrupted by a nurse.
"Were are the papers?' She asked
"Dr. Grey has them, get her in the room" Owen said
Meredith enter with the papers that stop the extraordinary measures. Outside were Arizona, Alex, Callie, Richard, Bailey, Derek, April and Jackson watching as one of their closest friends was being taken away.
"Are you guys ready?" The nurse asked
"Cristina Yang is the most stubborn and bossy woman you could have ever met. She always said that if this happen I should pull the plug out. And if she could watch herself in this position and I keep the plug in, she would kick my ass" Meredith said and Owen smile a little by this assumption
"So no, we are not ready to let her go, but she is ready to go so, yes proceed" Meredith end
They disconnect her and then they removed the ventilator and she flat line. And now she's gone. Really gone.

A/N: I know it's sad 😭😭 it's sad really sad like to cry while you are writing it. It's Shonda Rhimes type when everybody dies and we are devastated, I hate the story a little myself 😂 but well I am writing the upcoming chapters and I was wondering what couples would you like to see? I love to write for each one of the couples. It makes me happy and remembering of happier times. I am planning to write a fluffy drama with no death involve for another story so suggestions are always appreciated!
