You had just broken up with Z and she was very angry about that.
"Why would you leave me!? You know I need you! What did I do that caused you to leave me."
She started throwing things around the house after you came to bring her clothes back.
"You're acting like this, just because i left you?" you raise an eyebrow at her.
"I HOPE YOU DIE. I DON'T DESERVE THIS." You watch her destroy her own house. "WHAT WAS WRONG." She cries out.
"Z, you treated me like shit. I was in the dark pits of hell in our relationship. You need to get help or i cannot get back with you." You cross your arms while staring at her, "You need to go to rehab."
"When you are sober, you're perfect. We're perfect." You wipe your eyes.
Z stops and looks at you. "When you are high, you're horrible. You treat other people like shit. You take everything out on me. You're very abusive.
I love you, but I cannot stand here and watch you kill yourself in front of me." she walks to you as you walk backwards. "You need to get help Z. you're not a good person." Your eyes start to get watery.
You sigh and turn your back to walk out of the house. You hear Z cry for you.
"Please don't leave me. i'll get sober but I need you in my life. please come back."
You stop walking to look back at her place. You turn your head and listen to her.
You know you love her. You know she loves you. But your heart aches from dealing with the actions of her mentality.
You continue to walk away from her place. Your heart broke from having to help her for months.
You promised to always be there for her, but she had to promise to stay sober. She knew what would happen if she relapsed.
You still love her, you just want her to be okay.
She can call you when she needs someone or something. But she cannot be around you until she calls for help. She'll be okay.
