Five years have gone since my mother left me and my brother for her movie development films in Ontario. My mom worked with some of the top A-list celebrities, however, they were more of fans to my mom then she was a fan to them. Within the deep set mahogany walls, ran six generations of the Coleman's. Me and my brother visited my mom every so often.
"Everything is in the details, Love." She would always say.
Each Film had a purpose, a story, a meaning. It didn't matter what genre the film was. That's why she's the number one film director in Canada. The most recent film that she is producing right now would sell out worldwide and go on to be on the top three movies for years. Or so my mom thinks. From Atomic Blonde to Auburn in wonderland, she had served and fulfilled all the wants. Business was easy and comfortable for my mom, comfortable. We had come to blows in the final few years of her life around my ideas for potentially exploring new markets, Women's suits were one we had not entertained at all, sticking to the tried-and-true Male orientated clientele. She planned to change that after taking over, dabbling in new ways to make the film industry grow, but like all new ventures, change is painful.

"Hey Diana, how is the work going? Did you find my lead role yet." My mom had asked with a stern tone, flipping through the pages of her script faster than lightening.
"For you Tiana, it's Zendaya" Me and my brother Hunter flip our heads up in confusion and then we look at each other with our jaw dropping as we see her walk through the door.
Truth be told, my brother is the only one to know that my celebrity crush has been Zendaya, my entire life. I just thought her assistant was joking around to make the attention of the movie get false advertisement, but she was not. Zendaya was in the same room with me, my brother and my mom. Pretty sure I got lock jaw this day. My brother kept trying to keep me calm instead of jumping over the place.
"It's...Zendaya" I followed up, running my fingers around my cheeks.
"Yes, come on. Let's go say Hi!" Hunter replied, perching himself opposite me, grabbing my hand.
I couldn't introduce myself. I was terrified. My Celebrity crush was in the same room as me, and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This was just going to take a little patience, and a lot of calmness, but I knew I could do it.
"Thanks Hunter, but I'm terrified.
"Speaking of Crushes. There she is .... Now go say Hi" Hunter said in hushed tones and pushed me towards her.
I looked over my right shoulder to see a group of people surrounding my mom keeping her distracted. I decide to walk up to the snack table where Zendaya was standing.
"Uhm, Hi Zendaya." She turns around to see me and covers her mouth while eating. "I'm Y/N, and I am a really big fan of you. You've actually been my celebrity crush for like 5 years. I can't believe I am standing in front of you talking to you. It's nice to meet you." She started giggling and waves. "Hi Honey, do you want to take pictures?" I nod and grab my phone.
"You know, I go to Washington every so often. You should get my number so we can meet up. It would be awesome to hang out with you, cus you seem like a good person to be friends with." Zendaya said with a wink before writing down her number on a napkin. "You can call me Z."
