I'm watching tv as I hear my phone vibrate with a text from my long-distance girlfriend. It was two-thirty in the morning, I was expecting her to be asleep. I look at the text message, she asks for me.
"Baby, please come over. I can't sleep and I need you." I shake my head as a response and stand up to grab my keys, my phone, and wallet. We're about 8 hours away from each other, but we don't see each other often. I'm not sure on exactly why she isn't asleep. She doesn't usually have problems sleeping. I decide to stop at one of the 24-hour markets about half-way to her house.
I decided to get her some sweets and a new pillow. I brought a new bottle of my cologne/perfume, to give to her as a gift.
I get to her house at about 10:15am in the morning. I knock on the door and she opens it. She looks shocked.
"Why- why are you here? I-Its 10:30 in the morning."
"You told me you couldn't sleep, So I came."
Daya jumped straight into my arms looking like she was going to cry. "Okay, let's go inside, i got you stuff. You can sit on my lap while you see what I got you. it's cold out here." She laughs after apologizing and then she grabs your hand running to the couch and pushing you down.
After you get comfortable, she sits on your lap and opens the bag of stuff. She picks up the stuffed teddy bear you got her, and she holds it like it's her own child. She then picks up the candy, and claps while putting it to the side. She then finds the bottle of fragrance you brought her, and she screams in joy. "THIS IS THE SMELL YOU USE. I CAN'T WAIT TO USE THIS ON ALL OF MY CLOTHES." She jumps and down happily and then runs to the kitchen to grab food. "I made pancakes because I missed you. I didn't know you were coming." She brings you a plates and you start to eat.
Well that's the whole point of a surprise love. You don't know." Z claps happily and then lays her head on your lap and plays a movie on the tv.
You eat the food and put the plate on the table. You start to play with her hair and watch tv with her as she covers you two up.
After about an hour of watching movies, you look down at her and see that she's asleep on your lap. You carefully switch positions so she's laying on you and you rub her back as you fall asleep with her. All she needed was some sleep, and she'll be better when she wakes up.
