Your POV

Today was the weekend, and lucky for me, the only thing I had to worry about is going to work and getting my check so I can pay my rent. As I walked inside CiRCLE, I was greeted by Marina, and that usual smile of hers.

"Ah, (Y/N)-kun, there you are." She said.

"Morning, Marina-san." I said. "I'm ready for another day of work."

"Well, that's good, because you might be the only one here today." She said. Hearing that made me a bit confused.

"Oh, is Takeru not coming in today?" I asked.

"I'm not sure." She said. "I've been trying to get ahold of him, but his phone would just go straight to voicemail."

"Huh? That is weird..." I said and began to think to myself.

'It's not like Takeru to not show up to work... He usually let us know when he couldn't. I wonder what's going on?'

"Oh well, I guess it can't be helped." Marina sighed. "After all, the two of us are more than capable for completing today's task, right?"

"Yeah, you're right, and hopefully, Takeru doesn't have to worry about us."

Not long after, the doors opened up. We thought it was Takeru, but we were wrong. It ended up being Rinko instead.

"Good morning, Marina-san. (Y/N)-san." She greeted us softly.

"Good morning, Rinko-chan." Marina waved.

"And good morning to you, too." I said and gave Rinko a kiss on the cheek.

"It's not like you to be here by yourself first thing in the morning, Rinko-chan." Marina said. "Is Roselia scheduled to have rehearsals here?"

"Oh... no..." Rinko replied. "We're having... rehearsals at the agency... this afternoon."

"Oh, then what brings you here?" I asked.

"I was hoping... you can... help me out, (Y/N)-san." She requested.

"You need my help?" I asked.

"Yes. That's okay, right?"

"Well..."

I looked towards Marina, who approved by smiling and nodding her head.

"Sure, I'd be happy to help you out." I said.

"Thank you... so much." Rinko smiled.

Location - Live House CiRCLE, Cafe

Rinko and I went outside to the cafe and sat down at one of the tables. I wasn't sure what she wanted, but if she is asking me for help, then it must be important.

"So, Rinko, what did you need help with?" I asked.

"I need some help... writing a song." She said. That was quite an unexpected request.

"Write a song?"

"That's right."

"May I ask what brought this on?" I asked.

"Well... the piano competition is... coming up next weekend." She said. "And in order to enter, I have... write a new song."

"I see."
