Nawal's Sacrifice

The sun had started to depart into the dark sky. Faruk had been in his office as he occupied himself with work and work. He don't know what to do because everything is just too much for him to handle.

Talking a sip of his tea. Faruk looked at the picture he was given to. He didn't know what to say and he also doesn't want to conclude into someone he is not sure of.

Fawad is in coma, now Fadeela and out of nowhere Adam appeared adding to their already unsolved problems. He is yet to find Hoorain and the only person that knows about her whereabouts is still unconscious.

Something is not okay somewhere and he don't know where the problem is.

Faruk heard the sound of his phone which indicates a message just popped in. He picked his phone and read the message, "If you really want to save your wife come to this address in less than an hour."

Faruk read and re-read the message again. It only take him some minutes to pick his phone and car keys before he stormed out of his office.

He tried calling Nawal but she is not picking so the only thing is for him to trace her because he don't want anything to happen to her. It's like they're aiming his family one by one and he don't like the feeling he is having.

Faruk hurriedly get into the car and drove to the house using a map on his phone. He called home asking them if they hear any news about her but the answer is still the same.

Faruk tried to held back the tears as he keep praying for Nawal and her well being. Finally he entered the house, heart beating very fast, legs getting numbed and chest tightened with a severe pain. He manage to enter the room but she was not there, scanned the entire rooms inside the abandon house but there is nothing like Nawal in that place.

Faruk was out of the room as he called Nawal. His eyes clenched shut. He really want her to answer him but all he heard was her silence.

He couldn't take it anymore as he turned and all ran out inside the house. He didn't bother because all he want is to find her. Faruk hold the door knob as he released some shaking breath. He needed to make sure he is calm before he entered.

Nawal can hear someone calling her name. She followed the voice with steady steps so that she will not rush.

There she saw a disorganizing Faruk breathing heavily as if he run a marathon.

She tried to call him but what she saw next took her breath and a panic attack tried to stab her at once. A man was aiming a gun at Faruk and her heartbeat increases rapidly and she couldn't think of anything but to save him.

"Faruk move!" Nawal called with all the strength in her. She uses her hands to make him realize what she meant but Faruk was too numb to know exactly what she is trying to do at that time.

He was smiling as he keep approaching her as he come closer, closer and closer to where she was standing and at the same time the guy is pointing directly at his chest.

"Move Faruk! Move" Nawal kept yelling but Faruk is not in his senses to realize that.

He was just happy that she is safe because he don't know what he will do hadn't been something has happened to her. The last thing he want is to protect her since he failed to protect the lives of two important women in his life.

He can't failed this one also.

Nawal want to distract the man in order to save Faruk but it seems like the  person know what he was doing.

Before Faruk know what was happening, before the sun cast on him. Nawal pushed him and take the bullet instead.

It entered her like an arrow and stab her like a fire as blood start falling from her body before she fall into Faruk's awaiting arms.

Just then the nightmares start coming back to him. He tried to steady his breath but his heart felt soo tight. It's like he was being punished of something.

Faruk tried to breath but the air is suffocating him. Finally he intake a sharp breath as he began to steady his breath.

He looked at the helpless Nawal that's on his arms. Her blood soaked his clothes as she blink her eyes to stop them from closing, "You have to continue fighting this battle till you suceed Faruk." Nawal said.

Faruk tears were just falling and he didn't bother to stop them. He tore her veil as he use it on the place were she was shoot so that she will not lost too much of blood, "Promise me that you will bring Hoorain back," Nawal said as she tried to make her voice sound normal even though it was cracking and it's hard for her to talk.

"Please keep quite the ambulance will soon arrived, nothing will happen to you but please don't leave me" Faruk said.

"Promise me this Plea.......," She couldn't finish before Faruk cut her, "Just keep quite nothing will happen to you."

"Please," Nawal said as she look into Faruk's eyes waiting for his hands to occupy her slender ones and keep the promise.

"I promise." Faruk said.

He was just loosing it because it has happened again.

The same thing that happened to Tanweer.

Hoorain took a bullet for him and now Nawal.

Faruk have no idea if Nawal will leave him too. He don't want her to leave him in this lonely world.

Why is it that they all left him with a broken heart?.

Wargaji whom sat in a heavily tinted car just across the house Nawal entered some few minutes ago pulled out his phone and dialed Aminu's number.

He waited for a while for him to pick up the phone and when he did, he put the phone on speaker since he is the only one inside the car, "Faruk just entered the house, what should we do with him?."

"Kill him." Aminu's voice came at low.

"What! but that's not what we agreed on." Wargaji said.

"Plans change," Aminu said.

As much as Wargaji tried not to care for the man, he don't want him to be a complete monster while taking revenge.

"I will make sure I get rid of them and make them feel the pain they caused me and anyone that tried to spoil or be a hindrance to my plan will pay with his life." Aminu yelled through the phone.

"But they're your family," Wargaji tried to reason with him.

"Don't you dare say that again!" Aminu yelled.

Wargaji inhaled a deep breath, "I will do as per your order."

"Good" Aminu said "Just make sure you leave no trace that will cause you trouble."

There was a silence from both sides before Aminu break it. "Asked Samira to packed and meet me if you're done and tell her we will leave and start a new life all over again after I'm done dealing with things. I can't allow them to call her their family again after all what they did to her"

"Remembered this don't make any mistake," Aminu said.

"Yes sir," Wargaji replied and cut the call.

When he was aiming at Faruk ready to shoot him and end everything. Trying to shoot him in a place that will make damages and will leave no room for repair. Nawal entered and she was hurt instead.

Now he don't know if it's a good sign that she was hurt or not but whatever the case. Wargaji felt something bad about this.

As if the world is trying to fight against them and who knows if the earth want to fight them also in this battle.
