~*LONDON *~
The great, gray knees gripped the hard earth with a solidity of purpose that made it difficult to determine where the forest began and the soil ended so strong was the union of ancient bark and grainy sustenance.
Many years had those roots known-years when the dry sands had shriveled the outer branches under a parched sun, years when sea levels has risen up, drowning those same sands in the tears of unceasing time.
Many sands had the tree known; many green neighbors have come and go yet the trees remained.
The mighty roots have endured such whips and scorns as had been cast upon it but the old trees have survived, a pillar of twisted iron and horn against the now sickly sky, in the waning light of evening.
The trees waited, then, slowly at first but with ever increasing intensity, a small glimmer appeared on the glossy leaves through the whispering blades of grass, a brilliant fire arose from the depths turning the lingering water droplets into liquid silver that dripped from expectant leaves and flowed gurgling into shallow puddles, bathing the young trees with the succulent taste.
The Doctor's office was in total silence that even the drop of a needle will be heard, Hoorain's future lies here in this room and she don't know what will be her fate.
Will it be something she will be happy with and let the smile lead her in life or will the smile be the reason to many heartbreaks she will encounter in life?.
"How bad is her situation doctor." Aisha asked hoping there will find a way to cure her.
"Well.....," The Doctor started "I won't say she will be healed completely neither do I say she will not but we will put our heart and mind to all the positive result we will get."
Aisha inhaled a very deep breath and when Hoorain look at her she can see how tired she is, she blamed herself for making her friend go through this kind of situation.
"So I think we will just book an appointment so that the treatment will start as soon as possible." Aisha said.
Meanwhile, in the car Aisha reached to hold Hoorain's hand, her hand soft against her's, it soothed her, it calms her, it's gives her peace at that time and she decided to enjoy the moment and she was finally able to breath normally even though her heart is beating very fast.
"Are you okay." Aisha asked.
"I'm scared." Hoorain said.
"I'm scared of how fate is playing with my life, I'm scared of how it doesn't give me a clue to prepare for the worst. I'm scared of everything."
"Then don't be scared and fight your fate so that at the end of the battle you will be able to change your fate to how you want it to be." Aisha said.
"Why are you doing this, don't you feel tired of helping me?." Hoorain asked.
"You never get tired of helping people even if you will never get anything in return as long as you're doing it with a clean heart."
"At times why do even stranger's seem like they're your own?." Hoorain asked
"..And why is it, at times that even our own people become strangers?."
Aisha said, but before Hoorain could reply her, they were interrupted by the ringing tone of Aisha's phone and when she check the caller it's Yaya Faruk, Aisha feels guilty and she don't feel like picking the call in front of Hoorain.
"I'm okay with it, you can pick your call." Hoorain said.
"Are you sure?." Aisha asked.
"Very sure."
