"How is this true?," Faruk asked Adam not believing what his eyes are seeing. How can this be true?, How can Areef be alive after all he saw how they burnt into ashes. He saw it with his own eyes and now they said he is alive.

He can clearly remember how Hoorain told him she couldn't save him and he agreed because there is no way they will survive in that fire but now they said Areef is alive.

Should he believe them or not?.

Faruk looked down as the tears stream down his face. Seeing Areef staring at him break him down because he thought he was dead because that's what they said and he believe them.

He was hurt, he was devastated and heartbroken. He blames himself and everything that happens to them because if he didn't leave them on that day, all this wouldn't have happened to them in the first place and even if it happened,  then maybe he will save them and sacrifice his life instead.

Even if Faruk will swear and said this is not his son. He can't do that especially when he stared at the boy that's looking at him. All he could see where her eyes. The eyes that exactly look like Tanweer's. The eyes that haunt him almost everyday in his sleep.

Faruk didn't bother to wipe the tears that keep falling from his eyes as he turned and hug his son.

If Areef is alive that means Tanweer save him. She save him and sacrifice her life instead.

"Tanweer why?....." Faruk said as he hug Areef so tightly. Areef sniffed and wipe his father's tears that keep falling.

He is happy because finally he met his father after a very long time.

Areef looked at his father and smile, "She always told me that you will come and meet me one day. She said you will come and Today you've finally come," Areef said as he hold his father's hand.

Confussion was written on Faruk's face because he has no idea of what Areef is taking about. He tried to understand him but any attempt he made make him to fail misrably.

"What do you mean Areef?," Faruk
asked.

"Aunty Hoorain is the one that bring me here. She use to visit me often but the last time she visited. She was sad and she said she will not come again,"

"She asked me to pray for you so that you will fight all the battles and come back to me." Areef said as he looked down as another wave of tears fell from his eyes, "I don't want her to leave me. I missed her please bring her back," Areef said.

Faruk was just looking at Areef. He didn't bother to hide his confusion because the little boy is just confusing him.

"She was the one that save him from that fire and since then she has been taking care of him," Alyan said as he released the breath he has been holding.

The numbness in Faruk's chest caught his breath short, and he had to concentrate on keeping his tears away, "How is that even possible?," Faruk yelled. "I saw them in that fire and they burn to ashes. I couldn't save them and how did Hoorain save him?," Faruk said as he let the tears fall.

He couldn't hold it no matter how he tried to and the best thing is to let them fall.

"You only knew half of the truth Faruk," Alyan said jerking him out of his thought. Even Adam has to stare at him because he doesn't know anything. All what Hoorain asked from him is to save him and that's all he knew.

"What do you mean??" Faruk semi yelled.

Alyan looked at Faruk before he take his mind back to that night again.....
