ꪀ° 25: amnesia

The police arrived at the scene, seeing the body getting loaded into the ambulance truck. He looks at the marks of the tires on the bridge,....... something wasn't adding up.

After requesting for the cctv on the bridge, he watches it over, the truck looking like it intentionally swerved to the left and right, "this was no accident.." the driver was aiming for you... "wait... she looks like–"

"It seems she's woken up with amnesia.. the tests have came back with a slight fracture in the skull, the concussion was doubled with the impact from the water too.. she may need to stay in the hospital for a few more weeks."

You sit there, brows furrowed, finally realizing that there's a bandage wrapped around your head.

Taehyung stands there, hating and blaming himself for everything. Instead of facing you and your doctor by speaking freely about this, he walks out. He was gonna burst into tears and cry out loud. He couldn't take it.

Jimin walked out after him, he sighs.. "come on," he grabs Tae's arm, trying to take him back inside the room. He wanted Taehyung to face you with his mistakes and tell you the truth.

"No." He pushes Jimin off.. "maybe this is a good thing.. so she doesn't remember all the bad things I did to her."

Jimin glares at Taehyung, "are you fucking stupid? Do you think she's gonna love you for just paying her goddamn bills? She deserves the truth." Jimin growls, hoping Taehyung would tell you everything.

"No, everything's my fault.. I can't let her go.. if she finds out that all this was my fault, she'll never come back to me." He responds in his crying voice.

Jimin sighs again, irritated. He was never the type to tell people someone else's business or what they did, only if it helps resolve the situation but he was too kind hearted to tell you what Taehyung was like to you before you were in a coma for the past 3 days.

The doctor and nurse walk out, "she's updated about the accident and her injuries." Doctor Im says, "she'll need a boot, her left leg is broken.. don't remind her too much about what she doesn't remember, it'll cause migraines, maybe stress.. take baby steps." He smiles at the 2 boys.

The 2 boys thank him and go back inside your room. You were getting ready to leave again.

"Where are you going." Jimin sighs, running into you at the door again.

"Listen, I don't have the money to afford this shit. I'm leaving." You hold onto the wall, trying to walk out the door but Jimin grabs your arm.

"Stop." He stares at you softly, pulling you back in as Taehyung comes in behind.

You sighed and rolled your eyes, "who's gonna pay for this? These pills- the floor- the bed.. the the bone shit- I"

"I am," Taehyung says, grabbing your hand and pulling you close to him so he could hug you, "don't worry about any of it.. I -" you pulled away and hugged jimin's torso tightly.

"Who is this guy?" You ask, looking up at Jimin. "Do you know him?"

Jimin's arms were stiff like a penguin for a second to let you into his space before he hugs you back with one arm, his hand on your back, "yeah..."

"Y-you remember Jimin?" Taehyung asks, brows furrowed.

"It may be a couple years wiped like yours.. she and I had been best friends since.. well since we were born." He rubs your back, "it's okay Y/n. He won't do anything bad to you. He's a friend." He looks down at you with soft eyes.
