ꪀ° 23: guilt

"Oh.." you come eye to eye with the man.

Jimin walks in behind you.

"Who's this?"

"Oh, she's just Taehyung's caretaker." SoYeon says from a distance, walking toward the door to say goodbye to her ex lover Namjoon.

"Hi," you bow, "I-"

"Yooo, what's up Namjoon, it's been a minute," Jimin shakes hands with Namjoon.

"Hey Jimin.. it's been a long time, where were you? I heard you live here."

"Oh, me and y/n were visiting my parents. I haven't gone to see them yet since I came back." He stands by the opened door.

"Ahh, okay.. well.. see ya, I'm leaving."

"Alright, bye, it was good to see you.." they shake hands again.

The tall man looks at you one more time, he's about to leave until he looks at your shoes, he pauses for a millisecond,... looking at your face one more time before he leaves as you heave in place, not sure why you're heart is pounding in your ear.

You walk toward your room. When you enter you see Taehyung grabbing his things, "what are you doing?" You ask.

"I'm sleeping with SoYeon now, I'm getting better so don't worry about me. I guess whenever Jimin moves out you're moving out with him?"

"What– no, I'm staying here with you.." you walk toward him, begging him with puppy eyes, "don't sleep with her- please?"

"I need to take care of my baby momma.."

"No!" You raise your voice, "it's not your child!" You hug him tightly around his body, "stay with me.. I don't want you to sleep with her... please?" You start cry-talking, tears streaming down your cheeks.

"Stop y/n.. she doesn't like it when you're too close and touchy with me."

"Taehyung! I'm your fiancé."

"Who in the world has 2 fiancés huh? Why would you both be my fiancé." He tries to squirm out of your hold but you don't let go.

"You see all the signs that you're really in love with me, you're only in denial because you want a family..." you cry into his shoulder.

He pushes you off hastily when you don't let go, "stop trying to gas light me with your lies.. You need to move on, I'm not gonna marry you." Even if it hurt him to hurt you like that, he didn't look back when you fell to the ground, "I'm marrying SoYeon after my son is born." He slams the door shut.

You cry into the floor, unable to breathe correctly, pain in your chest from your heart cracking. You knew the world didn't want you with Taehyung since he had left you, but you wanted to fight through it, even if you continue to think, you just aren't meant to be together.

"Looks like she made our job easier." male 1 chuckles.

"Okay, let's go. Everyone should be asleep." Male 2 starts walking toward the girl by the door. They stop when another man walks toward you.

You grab the item in his hand, you give him the money.. "she's buying drugs?"

When the the drug dealer leaves, you put the items away into your pocket, walking back toward the Manor.

The two men quickly grab you before you could enter the house, covering your mouth.... leaving the door wide open.
