You and Eddie stood at your locker, waiting for Nance. "How's she holding up?" Eddie asked, tugging on a knot in his hair.

"She's paranoid. Can't really blame her, though," you sighed, your eyes flitting from the picture of you and Nancy in your locker to Eddie. A much hotter sight. "I'm just glad she's over the 'Steve's the killer theory' that was irking me."

Eddie grinned down at you. God, that grin. "Yeah? Why's that?" his grin transformed into something bordering on the lines of a smirk. A smirk that you wanted to kiss off of his face.

"I dunno. Steve's such a nice guy. I'm just saying, if he were my boyfriend..." you cut yourself off when you saw Eddie's eyes widen. "Not like that. That is not what I meant, Munson." It's exactly what you meant. "All I'm saying is, it wasn't fair of her to assume something like that."

"Mhm, sureeee," Eddie teased, his hands grabbing at your hips as he towered over you, causing butterflies to form in the pit of your stomach. You wanted him and Steve, and you wanted them bad.

Nancy approached the two of you, eyeing you suspiciously when she saw where Eddie's hands were placed. "Hey, I haven't seen Steve around. Is he really pissed?"

"Oh, you mean after you branded him the Candyman? No, his heart's broken!" Eddie replied. As soon as he finished talking, a loud shrieking noise sounded out as a student dressed as the killer ran down the hall.

"Why are they doing this?" Nancy scoffed.

"Are you kidding me? Look at this place. It's like Christmas!" Eddie exclaimed. Nancy rolled her eyes before walking away. You watched as Nancy bumped into Steve, your eyes moved back to Eddie, practically begging him not to bring up the previous conversation. "Are we gonna address it?"

"No!" you replied, beginning your walk to class.

"I really think we oughta address it!" he teased, following you.

"I need your attention now, kids. Due to the recent events that have occurred, effective immediately, all classes are suspended until further notice. The Hawkins Police Department has issued a citywide curfew beginning at nine o'clock tonight," Principal Higgins voice sounded out through the speakers around school.

You ran up to Nancy as she walked out of the school. "Can you believe this? No school, this is amazing!" you exclaimed.

Nancy stopped walking only to turn and snap at you, "Is it amazing? Is it, y/n?! I was attacked again in the bathroom. That doesn't sound that amazing to me."

"Nance, I'm sorry, I-" you were cut off when Eddie jumped on your back.

"Nancy, my liege, I don't know what you did, Nancy. But on behalf of the entire student body, we all say thank you! I say... impromptu party tonight, Steve's house. Celebrate this divine miracle. Whaddya say?" Eddie exclaimed.

      "Are you serious?" Nancy scoffed.

"C'mon, Nance, it could be a good way to relieve some stress," you plead, giving her your best puppy dog eyes.

"Besides, have you seen me? I'm totally ripped. I got you covered, man!" Eddie laughed.

    "Okay. Whatever," Nancy groans.

"Yeah? Nice! Steve's already agreed to host, said his parents were out of town again. You guys bring food, all right?" Eddie requested, giving your arm a tight squeeze as he head-banged in excitement.

Eddie made his way to Family Video where Robin and Steve were working. He spotted Robin stocking the shelves in the New Releases section. Eddie made his way over, knocking the films out of Robin's hands. "Dingus," Robin groaned, reaching down to pick the movies up from off of the floor.

"God, man, this place is packed tonight," Eddie said as he looked around the bustling store, tapping his ring-clad hands against the wooden shelf.

"We had a run in the mass-murder section," Robin joked.

"You comin' to Steve and I's party?" Eddie asked, resting his head against his palm.

"Yeah, I'm off early. Curfew, you know," Robin turned her head to the horror section, where Steve seemed to be stocking shelves and chatting with customers, "Oh, now that's in poor taste."

"What?" Eddie questioned, turning his head to look where Robin was looking.

"If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath, would you be standing in the horror section?" Robin whispered.

"What? It was just a misunderstanding. He didn't do anything," Eddie defended.

"You're such a little lapdog. Listen, I love the dingus, but he's got "killer" printed all over his forehead," Robin scoffed.

"Oh-kay! Really? Well, why'd the cops let him go, miss smartie?" Eddie teased.

"Because obviously, they don't watch enough movies. This is standard horror movie stuff. Prom Night revisited, dingus," Robin exclaims.

"Yeah? Why would he wanna kill his own girlfriend?" Eddie asked, lifting his eyebrows up in mock-surprise.

"There's always some stupid, bullshit reason to kill your girlfriend. That's the beauty of it all. Simplicity. Besides, if it gets too complicated, you lose your target audience," Robin explained.

"Well, what's his reason?" Eddie questioned.

"Maybe Nancy's cheating on him," Robin suggests, shrugging her shoulders as she spoke.

"What? She cheating on him with you?" Eddie teased, sticking his tongue out as he laughed.

"No, dingus, obviously not," Robin scoffed.

"You know who I think it is? You know, I think it's her mother. There were rumors of her sneaking around with Billy Hargrove. I betcha Mrs. Wheeler was doing it with Jason, and Chrissy found out, Chrissy was probably gonna tell somebody. Plus, why can't they find her mom, man?" Eddie exclaimed.

"Because she's probably dead. Her body will come popping up in the last reel somewhere! Eyes gouged out, fingers cut off, teeth knocked out! See, the police are always off track with this shit. If they'd watch Prom Night, they'd save time. There's a formula to it. A very simple formula! Everybody's a suspect!" Robin shouted, earning the attention of every customer in the store. Eddie made a gesture to show that Robin was high. "I'm telling you, Mrs. Wheeler's a red herring. It's Steve, as much as I love him, I know a killer when I see one," Robin exclaimed, her eyes widening when she heard Steve's voice sound out from behind her.

"Is that so, dingus? How do we know you're not the killer? Huh? Huh?" Steve asked, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "Maybe you're movie-freaked mind lost it's reality button. You ever think of that?"

"You're absolutely right. I'm the first to admit it. If this were a scary movie, I'd be the prime suspect," Robin agreed, an awkward smile adorning her face.

"And what would be your motive?" Eddie chimed in from behind her.

"It's the millennium. Motives are incidental," Robin replied.

"Millennium. I like that. That's good. It's the millennium," Steve smirked before walking off to finish stocking shelves so he could leave for the day.

"C'mon, Munson, you're telling me that's not a killer?" Robin groaned as she turned back to Eddie. He gave her a small shrug in response.
