You and Nancy had gone and gotten food for the party. When the two of you entered Steve's house, the first thing you did was make your way to the kitchen to drop off the bags. You watched as Eddie held up a beer funnel for Gareth.

"You guys were tardy so we started the party without you," Eddie smirked.

The three of you moved to the living room where Robin stood in the center, holding up two films. "How many Evil Dead? How many Phenomena?"

"The Fog, Terror Train, Prom Night. How come Jamie Lee Curtis is in all of these movies?" Nancy asked as she shuffled through tapes.

"She's the... scream queen," Robin replied as she leaned over Nancy's shoulder, making a praying motion.

"With a set of lungs like that, she should be," Eddie chuckled with a smirk. You rolled your eyes jokingly, giving him a light shove. "You'd be a good scream queen, y/n/n," he muttered, just loud enough so you could hear it, but nobody else could. A blush crept onto your cheeks at his words. He didn't mean it like that, he's just messing around. The group went their separate ways when Brenda Wood showed up to the party. Nancy didn't want to deal with her, and frankly, she was pissed off at Eddie for letting her in. Robin went to go get chips from the kitchen, and you kept your spot on the couch. Out of the corner of your eye, you watched as Tina made her way into the garage to fetch what you assumed to be more beers. You turned your attention back to the crowd gathered around Brenda Wood.

After a few minutes, you and Robin met back up and walked into the foyer, at the same time Steve and Nancy walked upstairs, presumably to "makeup." Eddie tried his best to suppress the smirk that was threatening to spread across his face when he saw the twinge of jealousy in your eyes at Steve taking Nancy upstairs.

"Someone jealous?" he muttered into your ear, toying with a strand of hair next to your cheek. You couldn't manage to defend yourself, he knew you too well. You opened your mouth to say something, but quickly shut it. You couldn't rat on Nancy like that, you wouldn't. "Got something to say, sweetheart?" Eddie's voice cracked your resolve like a brick to a window. "How 'bout we go somewhere private, 'n you can tell me what's wracking that pretty little brain of yours," he added. You whined, he already knew you were putty in his hands. Hell, you knew it, too. He grabbed your hand and led you outside, the two of you stood next to a bush, away from everyone else. "Now, fess up," Eddie demanded.

"It's Nancy, okay?!" you exclaimed, "I think she's been cheating on Steve with this guy, Jonathan Byers. I didn't want to tell anybody because I love Nancy, you know I do. But... but it's just not right! Steve deserves better, it's not fair, Eddie. And it's eating me alive!"

Eddie cooed at your confession. He held your face with his hands, brushing his thumbs over your cheeks as he gave you a sympathetic smile. "It's okay, sweetheart. You don't have to worry, promise. Things are gonna be put back into place, you just gotta' be patient, 's all. Things might seem scary, but you know who your friends are. You can trust us."

You nodded at his confusing, yet comforting words. Eddie could kill a guy, and with his charm, he'd be able to weasel his way right back into your heart. "Can we go back inside now? I can hear Halloween playing and you know how much I love it." Eddie nodded at your request, grabbing your hand and tugging you back inside. He shoved other people away and sat you down next to Robin, ranting something about Jamie Lee and breasts. You weren't really paying attention all that much until she sprung up, pausing the movie in the process.

"There are certain rules that one must abide by in order to successfully survive a horror movie. For instance, number one, you can never have sex," Robin began, earning boos, "Big no-no! Big no-no! Sex equals death, okay? Number two, you can never drink or do drugs." The room erupted with the sounds of bottles clinking together. "No, the sin factor. It's a sin. It's an extension of number one. And number three, never, ever, ever under any circumstances, say... "I'll be right back," 'cause you won't be back," Robin explained.

Eddie stood up from the couch, "I'm getting another beer. You want one?"

"Yeah, sure," Robin shrugged, waving him off.

"I'll be right back!" Eddie exclaimed before stumbling off.

"You push the laws and you end up dead. Okay, I'll see you in the kitchen with a knife," Robin finished off her speech before sitting down.

The movie continued playing as more people left the party. Everyone's attention was brought back to the sound of the phone ringing. Robin groaned as she crawled over to it, picking it up. "Hello? Yeah? Holy shit. No... listen up," Robin gasped, standing up and turning to the group on the couch. "They found Principal Higgins dead. He was gutted and hung from the goalpost on the football field."

The rest of the boys on the couch stood up and ran to their cars so they could see him before he was taken down. Robin slumped down on the couch next to you, "Men," she groaned.

At some point during the movie, Robin had noticed you weren't spewing out your funny one-liners. She smiled when she looked over at you and saw that you had passed out, clutching the bowl of popcorn and a beer. Not long after, she went back to watching the movie.

Eddie ran outside, smirking as he found Nancy and the cameraman crouching in the news van. As soon as Eddie got the chance, he sliced the cameraman's throat.

The kill was careless, boring. Eddie could admit it. But there was no time to make it perfect when the sounds of Nancy's screaming could possibly wake up the whole neighborhood. Or, more importantly, you.
