*Coras POV*
(After the fight)

If actions could justify my words.... this world would be on fire.

I took a deep breath in and out, in and out. Sat down and watched her run. Things will be different now, it seems. God bless her when she finds out who she really is.

The thing I hate about this is how I feel that I'm using her. Even if it is for the greater good, this felt wrong. This felt like a game of chess, all moves and counter moves. Both of us a pawn in this retched thing called life. But it's time we set this ball rolling and get into the game. If we don't then.... then what? Adigion failed to tell me that part. I've been thinking it over and over. I didn't know what would happen if Ren didn't take up her calling or whatever. But my part in this was very clear. Everyone has figured out that in order to get to her they have to use me. At first, I refused, but then I was given a choice. Well not a choice I wouldn't put it that way, but more like they recruited me of sorts. The logic in this: I die, go through tons of training then use that training to manipulate Rey to 'join us' so that she can fulfill her duty and prophecy.... all sounds very evil at first. But since I did do a great service and I'm her best friend they let me in on more. Being that for now I'm the key/valuable source to getting her to them. I wouldn't have done this if they didn't make it sound so important. I made a choice. And this choice has been the most important I've ever made, and I don't regret anything. In fact, this the way things are supposed to be.

A noise I heard from behind me interrupted my thoughts. I turned around and saw sunshine. But it really wasn't sunshine....

"Hey, you can come out of hiding now." I said to the cat who grew into a human form. Particularly a boy.

"God, I hate cats." He said as he shivered.

"Well, it's the only thing I could think of at the moment that wouldn't be so suspicious to her." I urged him

"Yeah, but you couldn't have thought of something better...like maybe a dog?" He sounded disgusted

"We didn't have a dog dimwit. She's familiar with sunshine and will most likely try to take care of her, which is what I want to happen. And that means if she comes looking for her that you need to shift back into that cat, got it." I pointed out to him.

"I still don't know what's the point of this..." Cole pouted.

I took a deep breath, already annoyed by the fact that he was asking these questions once again. I clenched my mouth together and said through my teeth. "So that if anything happens, you'll be there to protect her...understood" I put heavier emphasis on what I said because he genuinely was messed because he wanted to go through with his plan.

" I know that...I'm asking why I need to be a cat, why can't I just be there, next her like a bodyguard." He sighed.

I sighed, " Cole you need to be with her when she's in her house, by her side at all times.... whenever she goes on walks, homework, to the store maybe, to library, even when she's asleep-"

"Did you just say asleep" he pointed out confused

"The point is her mom won't let her hang out with guys. And she can't get the slightest suspicion that Rheya will eventually figure out who she is."

"Asleep? Like I'll be watching her while she's sleeping??" He never sees the bigger picture.

"It's safer that way too, until it comes time for when she's able to control herself" I was pacing back and forth across my room when I stopped and looked at Cole, who looked horrified. "Did you say something?" His mouthed opened and closed, almost like a guppy.
