Waking Up

*Starts a couple weeks after the events of Stranger Things season 4 finals*

Eddie started coughing, black blood poured out of his mouth. He pulled himself together and opened his eyes, while lying on the floor all he saw was the darkness of clouds above him. Last thing he could remember was the bats, the pain, and the sound of Dustin’s voice. His body felt weak, shivers down his spine but also feeling numb. The pain was gone. Eddie sat up and looked at his hands noticing the dry blood. “What happened?” He looks around to notice all the dead bats around him. He was still in the upside down. “Dustin I must see if his okay” Eddie notices his voice was rusty due to choking on his blood. Eddie tries to stand but falls on his butt. “Shit” he did not feel strong enough to move but he was not staying here any longer. He decided to at least drag himself to his near by trailer when all of a sudden, he heard whispers calling his name.

“Eddie, where are you going?” Eddie started freaking and kept dragging himself, but the voice got closer and closer. “You can’t leave Eddie” He turns around to see a disgusting burned face. Eddie coughs hard then speaks

“Vecna, I presume” Eddie looks up and down at Vecna feeling absolutely terrified.

“You can’t leave I made you, you can’t go, you are mine and must serve me”

“Over my dead body” Eddie yelled as hard as he could even though he knew deep down he was fucked. Then he thought made me what does that mean. “Wait what do you even mean?”

“You died don’t you remember” it was hard to tell Vecna’s expression, but Eddie just knew he was smirking inside. Eddie looks down

“no way” he lets out a sigh would explain alot how he was suddenly healed “then how am I here? Breathing?”

“Who said you were breathing?” Eddies eyes widen

“What have you done to me?!” he screamed at Vecna then kept pulling himself along the ground to get away. Vecna uses his telekinesis to make Eddie float in mid-air. Eddie struggles. “LET ME GO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY FRIENDS!”

“Your friends are fine for now it’s your self you should be worried about” suddenly Eddie was dropped by Vecna and fell to the ground. “Your friends weakened me I’m not as strong which is why I need you” Vecna starts using his powers on the dead bats behind Eddie. Eddie turns to see what’s happening. The bats end up melting turning into this red slug like thing. They form together and slowly start moving to Eddie. He tries to move but isn’t quick enough. He feels it going up his legs, up his body. Eddie starts screaming in fear and pain. He eventually felt it consume him. “This is just the beginning”
