The sounds of your fingers tapping against the keys of the keyboard filled the room. "Osmanthus win-" You continued to switch around the artifacts you got to see which ones had the best stats fro Zhongli's build. It was pitch black outside, and you were still up despite it being 12AM. Different pieces of httyd and genshin merch decorated your room. How to train your dragon was your entire childhood, while genshin impact was what you were currently into now. You weren't as hard of a httyd fan as you were before, but you still loved it. The concept of dragons and fantasy entertained you a lot, and you loved them a lot.

You stretched your arms out as you yawned. You were getting tired and you had to wake up early tomorrow because your parents had forced you into participating in some sort of family activity, you didn't care. From the corner of your eye, you saw a bright flash in the sky from your window, lighting it up for a split second. You raised your eyebrow as you looked at the window. "Eh, whatever."

And you went to bed.

~~~~~
You groaned as you looked at all of the family members that had gathered. Think of the amount of distant relatives your mom would force you to interact with. It was some sort of camping family bonding thing. You let out a sigh as you brought out your phone. "Hey, put down that phone young lady! This is supposed to be an activity where we bond with each other, not stick our noses into phones all day!" You mother said as she snatched away your phone. You were fucking 25 goddammit. You suppressed the urge to roll your eyes, especially with how some of your 5 year old cousins were watching the weird kid youtube videos on their ipad.
You stood up to walk around if you couldn't do anything. If you were here in the forest, might as well make the most of it and go sightseeing. You silently disappeared into the trees of the forest. Let's just say, you did not regret this one bit. The way the sunlight glowed through the green leaves that covered the sky above in a way that made them look like they were glowing was always nice to see. You saw a small river to your left, and decided to see what you could find. Maybe some nice rocks.
You pushed through the foliage and trees to get to the river, but when you had exited, you were met with a clearing. The river was still there, but instead of seeing the blue sunny sky, it was suddenly a dark black with constellations and stars decorating the black space. You could see splotches of indigo and purple, the milky way and so many more. "What?... How...." You looked up at it in awe. You had no idea how pushing through some foliage took so long, but the night sky was so beautiful.
You were brought out of your trance when you heard some sort of humming, like when ancient ruins are activated in fantasy games. Your eyes were brought down when you saw light coming from the ground. An intricate pattern of glowing blues, purples, and golds lay pit below you with specks of bright white. It looked like... the night sky you were just looking at. You instantly looked up only to be met with the sight of thunder piercing down towards you.
