"That's not how you hold a fork!" Kali yelled at Greyson.

"Yes it fucking is!" Greyson shouted back.

We were currently all in the kitchen eating craft Mac and cheese out of my dads oversized coffee mugs.
Kali and Grey having a full on court level argument on the right way to hold a fork.
We were all in tears from laughing so hard.

"Oh god, " I wheezed "I stan you two."

Kali and Grey whipped around to face me, their eyes wide and cheeks flushed.

I smirked.
It's official, I'm a genius matchmaker.
I'm going to get Troy and Hazel in on this.

"Ah, young love." I sighed wistfully, my hands clasped together in front of my chest.

Hazel snorted "Keira, hunny, you haven't been in love." Haze pointed out, causing my smile to grow.

"I have been in love, darling." I said dreamily "in fact I'm engaged!"

Their eyes widened in shock.
"Lies!" They all screamed.

"I'll prove it! Hang on!" I ran into my room and found the ring with my birthstone, amethyst.

I ran back with it on my ring finger, holding it in the air.

"As you can all clearly see, I am engaged, to my bed." I said seriously, struggling to keep a straight face.

We all burst out laughing immediately, calming down a few minutes later.

"So, " Kali announced smugly "That's still not how you hold a fork."

Grey's face scrunched up in frustration "Yes it is! You're the one holding it wrong!" He pointed his fork at her.

She gasped in outrage "Greyson Wyatt Dawson! Do not point your fork at me!" She exclaimed, pointing hers at him right back.

And there they go again.
I watched them continue to bicker like an old married couple until I heard the doorbell.

I excused myself and walked out of the kitchen towards the front door.

I unlocked it, not bothering to look through the peep hole.

That was a mistake.

"Nolan! You complete idiot!" I yelled, trying to slam the door but tall, blonde, and handsome stopped me by zipping inside and pulling me back by my waist.

I quickly got away from Everett and gave him a look that could've withered plants "If you touch me again without my consent, I will beat you up."

He rolled his eyes "Sure, Kiera."

I ignored him and turned to Nolan accusingly.
"You're such an idiot, Nolan! You're the one who said no boys! And you bring the only one I don't want." I glared at him.

He shrugged nonchalantly "He's Hazel's brother, what do you want me to do? He would've come one way or another anyway."

"That's a shit excuse!" I pointed out.

"Hey, what's going on- why is jerk-face here?!" Kali screeched, stopping dead in her tracks.
She turned to Nolan "I swear to god Nolan, you need a new brain."

"To answer your question, creep is here because my idiot brother brought him, " I turned to Nolan "You are the one explaining to mom and dad why this boy is here." I say and walked out without another word.
