Y/N

You fled. You ran across the street through an abandoned building, and down into the forest. Just like what you planned for your escape route.

But now you are panicking.

You can't show up to a hospital, that was never an option, you will probably be in handcuffs before you go into the ICU.

If you find any black market doctors, you can't make it to there alive. You never expected yourself to get such a serious injury that you wouldn't be able to move to their office, which unfortunately you did.

The wound is too severe for you to treat yourself, plus you can sense your consciousness slowly draining away with the blood bursting out from the gunshot.

If the target follows the blood trail, he'll find you in no time.

You feel like your body parts are stopping to respond. Before you realize it, you are already on the ground, not able to move even a finger.

You still don't know what to do. It seems too late.

Maybe I'll die here.

You feel like it's becoming harder and harder to breathe. Less air in. More air out. Every time.

And then you can't sense anything anymore.

It's early morning. The sun shine on a body, covered in a black jacket and a mask, covering its whole face. A dog ran pass nearby, and the body didn't move a single bit. It is impossible to tell if it's still alive or not.

As someone traveling in another place senses the body, the dimension fabric begins to tour. Then a man stepped out of the dimensional rift, looking down at the body. He clicked on a special communication device, that looked like Killjoy's creation,

"I found her."

"How is she?"

"She seems dead." Yoru tapped the body lightly, receiving no response.

"That's fine," A woman's voice replied, "bring her back."

"Okay." Yoru disconnected, then grabbed the body by its waist, placed it on his shoulder - that's when he realized the half dried blood spreading from the stomach - he raised his eyebrows a little in surprise, but continued his move. Tearing the dimensional fabric again, he pulled out his mask.

As he is about to put it on, he suddenly sensed something, he looked back at the now still empty street, there is no sign of anyone hiding. He waited for a few more seconds, a stray cat jumped off from a nearby tree and disappeared into the bush across the street.

Yoru signed, shaking his head. As if more relaxed, he put on his mask, humming a new song he recently heard, and walked into the rift, with the body on his shoulder.

The rift closed up behind him.

And a surveillance camera slowly turned itself back from the direction of the rift to fit in with the rest of them along the street.

I swear I'll make the plot so much more complicated than it looks right now lmao (or not)
