"You wanted to see me?" Cypher walked into Sage's office. The lady is sitting at her desk, with loads of files stacked up in front of her. Currently she is holding up a file marked in yellow, with her face boring the weight of seriousness.

"How was the search?" Sage glanced up at him and asked.

"Well, should I be honest with you--"

"Always be."

"Ahh... no fun." Cypher shrugged and continued on with his report, "honestly, I had no luck with the search. The new agent is active only in the black market. It's hard to track any of her informations."

"As what I expected." Sage sighed.

"But, at the end I was able to find something odd," though Cypher's face is completely covered in his mask, one can still feel the proudness in these words.

"At some point last year, Y.N. has missed a few missions, and completely lost contacts with the customers. Though the missions were completed a few days later so the customers didn't complain, this still seems quite odd considering she is a killer known for ontimeness and perfect assassinations."

"Interesting," Sage placed down her file, seems to be thinking, "what do you think could've happened during this time?"

"I don't know," Cypher joked, "maybe they were kidnapped to the Mirror world."

"Or they went willingly after making an agreement..."

"That was suppose to be a joke."

"It's not."

"Are you saying that the Mirror world found the new agent and did all the finding the alternate part and turning them into their agent before us, then they took all this effort to send both of them back to us?" Cypher laughed, "for what reason?"

"They want a spy in our protocol."

"Then they should've just leave one of them to us, no?"

"It's because the balance." Sage suddenly realized.

"Because of the what?" Cypher's confused.

"The balance. The worlds need to be balanced. There shouldn't be two of the same beings in the same world. We tried to oversee the balance by bringing the alternate agent to our world and recruiting them before the other world, but it seems like the mirror world has already done this, and failed.

And that's why they are trying a different way. They are trying to achieve the unbalance through losing, not gaining.

Both agents have interacted with the mirror world, and one has rejected the protocols offer for some unknown reasons, who according to the balance would belongs to our protocol.

We need to find which of them is this agent. If we make a mistake, we will have a spy in our protocol and permanently lose our actual agent."

"Sounds complicated enough."

Sage glared at Cypher, and continued," the point is we have to find which one of the two new recruits is the spy. But don't do anything for now."

"Why?"

"The spy will start sending out info to mirror world to make us suspicious, then they can blame it onto their counter part." Sage said, and smiled," Y.N. does not have the ability to communicate across dimensions, there must be someone helping her."

"So you want to capture them both?"

"Yes." Sage nodded.

Y.N.

Who's at the door?

They knocked again.

If you answer the door, then whoever is there is going to see you in Yoru's room, while he is showering.

Would be the best if that doesn't happen. Technically, you don't mind it actually happening, but now just seems too soon... wait what am I thinking?

At the thought, you shook your head.

Maybe you can just pretend you aren't here, and Yoru is showering. If it's Sage or Skye coming to check on him, they would probably just leave and come back another time.

So you decided to stay quiet.

But the person knocked again.

Who is it?

And then you heard your voice.

"Yoru? are you in there?" it's the you from this world.

You frowned.

It's the same voice, same pitch, maybe a bit less cold and harsh than you. You don't know what exactly it is, but hearing the voice just pisses you off.

It feels like the voice has said something to you before, something bad, that you couldn't forget even though you don't even remember what happened. It's an odd thought. You've almost never spoken with the other you before, at least not from what you remember.

What happened? You can't help but wonder. What is hidden in the fog filled part of your memory that seems to be covered up? There is so much more going on than what's seen from the surface. And the feeling of not being in control makes you mad.

The voice fell quiet again.

You activated your ability, stopping any sounds occurring because of you, and backed away from the door.

Yoru can deal with this when he finishes showering.

You are just going to hide here and leave after she leaves. Your instinct is telling you letting her know you are here is not a good choice, and you've decided to trust your mind.

You are confident no one can detect you when you use your ability. If the mirror you has the same strength, you don't think she can notice either.

Let's just see how it will work out.

You signed.

There is no better choice anyways.
