confusion // elmax

Intro

Hello my fellow homosexuals! I've decided to start writing an elmax fanfic because I read them all the time and get annoyed when it doesn't go exactly how I imagine it will- and then I remembered that I can just create my own.

So here we are!

This takes place in February 1988 when the party is 16/17. El still has powers and everything, but Vecna and all those threats supposedly never happened. They just sorta... rescued her from the lab? Idk I just don't want backstory to become an issue with this.

Joyce and Hopper are married in this one. Billy did die in a mall fire and Neil left but it didn't affect Max like it does in the show. Also the Byers never moved to California.
