The term ‘research instrument’ refers to any tool that is used by a researcher to obtain, measure, and analyze data (Impactio, 2021). As far as research instrument is concerned, the conduction of the research study employs the usage of formal, pre-planned convocation with accommodation of semi-structured interview questionnaires. Certain questions were prepared, so as for the researchers to guide the interview towards the satisfaction of the research objectives.

In addition, the draft of the questionnaire was drawn out pursuant to the researcher’s findings, professional literatures, and previous published research dissertations relevant to the study. Upon preparation of the research instrument,  prerequisite requirements in the making of good data collection were considered, for instance, assertions describing the situations pertinent to thinking dispositions and vaccine experiences/views was toned down to accommodate the knowledge preparedness of the respondents. In more details, open-ended questions were presented to accommodate free-formatted views. Preference for the usage of the semi-structured interview questionnaire is premised on various research assumptions such as  cost of being a least expensive means of data-gathering, eluding personal bias, less pressure for urgent response, and providing a greater feeling of anonymity.
