In accordance with the aforementioned predetermined criterion, the researchers make use of purposive sampling, criterion-based sampling in other term. In more detail, it is a form of non-probability sampling whereas researchers rely on their own judgment when selecting members of the population to partake in direct interview.

Primarily, the aim of the research dissertation utilizes a phenomenological approach towards above-mentioned minor age-group interrelated with the continuum vaccine disinclination, thus, purposive sampling best satisfy the research objectives. For a reason that the present study contemplates in-depth analysis of selected individuals, it is significant to note that the research does not intend to make generalizations of the larger population of underage individuals. By that means, the method of data-gathering implies purposely deliberation of selected respondents.
