A car pulls into the lot. Keith exits the car.

INT. Family video - morning

Keith walks through the store. He notices it's empty and quickly walks to the back office.

He rounds the corner and sees Steve.. Tears continue down his face.

He doesn't know if he should say anything..

Keith

Harrington.

Steve quickly turns to face Keith. He wipes his face in attempt to hide the tears.

Steve

Hey. Keith.. How's it going?

Keith looks on..

Keith

You alright man?

Steve

Steve begins past him.

Steve drives slowly through Hawkins. Rain hits the car softly, a slight shower.

Steve spots a sign. It reads "Hawkins Cemetery" Steve turns his car in.

He winds through the gravel roads and comes to a stop. He exits the car.

He walks slowly to a gravestone. We reveal who lays to rest. Barbara Holland. "Beloved Daughter" Born September 13th, 1967. Died November 8th, 1983.

The rain falls on Steve. He stares lost at the stone.

Steve

Shit..

Steve looks to his shoes. Then back at the stone.

Steve

Hey, Barb. I uh.. I just wanted to come by and say.. I'm sorry.. I didn't handle anything right. I was a douche. I know that you were never my biggest fan.. and you made that clear to Nance. You were right.. It makes me-- I feel horrible when I look back and see how I acted when you were missing. I hurt you.. I hurt myself and I hurt Nancy.. You were her best friend.. And I acted like I didn't care.. I almost tried to cover it up..

Steve looks to the sky. Rain continues to fall.

And then Nancy broke up with me.. And I changed.. I did it for her.. And I just want you know that If I could go back and do it all over.. as the person I am now.. You'd still be here.. Here in Hawkins... Here with Nancy.. and here as my friend..
