"I DON'T WANNA LEAVE" Max whispered to herself, grabbing her hair in frustration.

Max was at war with herself, she didn't know if she should stay or go.

but everything shes done in the past 3 years has led up to this point, it was too late to turn back now.

What led up to this point was it began when her older brother, Peni, who was the actual first victim of the grabber got taken.

well in Denver at least, she didn't know how long the grabber had been kidnapping boys.

she didn't think she'd want to know either.

"you don't have to do this, you know" Sione walked into the room, with a prominent frown on his face.

Sione hated that he couldn't take his sister's place, as much as he wished he could, the time traveling didn't work for him.

"everything's already ready, I can't go back now" Max stood up, facing her brother with determination and a bit of sadness in her eyes.

He gently took her hands in his, "I know how much you love that boy and even though this is for our brother, I know part of it is for him too."

Sione didn't know how much she loved the Hopper boy, but what did he know is that she would do anything if it meant Vance would be safe.

Max sadly smiled, thinking of the kiss they shared the night before, but now that moment would forever be a memory that she will always hold dear to her heart.

"are you truly ready for this?" Max nodded her head without a beat, to which Sione sighed, this was her decision and he had to respect it.

He would do anything to make his little sister happy.

"take care of yourself Max, I'll see you in the past" Sione leaned forward, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead, sealing the time leap back to the past.
