" I do not like this at all." Heer sounded a little worried over the phone. " Kya?" Shakti frowned on the other end.
" Jija aur Kunwar Pratap! Har baat pe ladh rahe hai." She still sounded worried as he chuckled.
" Isme Naya kya hai? They are always like that."
" Nahi... I feel awful agar koi mere Karan ladh raha hai, I think I should talk to..."
" Don't!" He stopped her. " Tumhe nahi pata, yun ladh rahe but agar koi beech mein aya dono ek team ban Jayenge against that person. So let them be."
" I am not sure..."
" Trust me!! Waise chal kya raha waha? Yaha toh main ladkiyon ki saree jewellery gossips se tang aa gaya hoon! Dadabhai aur Bhabisa bhi pata nahi kaha reh gaye!"
" Mahek Jija yaha sabko samhaal rahi hai, Jija ne kaha tha woh aa jayegi par nahi aayi ab tak. Oh haan, Ma ne kaha hai, ke...." She stopped. " ... Umm Amar ke kakasa se bolna ke "
" Unhone Amar ke Kakasa bola?" Shakti stopped her amused. " Haan... nahi... naam bola "
" Toh tum Kyun..."
" Main nahi bol sakti." She blushed. " Aisa kyun?"
" Bas nahi bol sakti."
" Ohh toh tum shadi ke baad bhi Amar ke Kakasa bulaogi?" He asked, amused. " Nahi... Mujhe nahi pata '' She blushed at his teasing.
" Naam itna kharab hai mera?" " Jija bhi naam nahi leti."
" Leti hai jab bohot gussa hoti hai. Kunwar Pratap Singh! Bolke chillati. Maine khud suna hai." They both laughed.
Amar entered Shakti's room with a ball, frowning at his laughter. " Accha Minion aa gaya." He said smiling.
" Main chalti hoon." She disconnected.
Pratap and Ajabdeh were at the wedding grounds with the Event Planner who felt trapped. He wanted to run away but couldn't. He swore to God that he had never seen a crazier couple when it came to deciding on something. They were playing pick up a chit and that would be it to decide everything from colours to menus to themes, and much to his annoyance no one was paying heed to his suggestions. " Mujhe lagta hai Gold aur brown acche rahenge on the drapes stage pe. Stage circle theek hai."
" Nahi Princy, Aqua blue and orange theme drapes and stage ko aap ramp type bana do, the kids can have fun!"
" Ramp pe dance ? Wah Ajabdeh, let me decide." " Nahi, I said main karungi!"
" Ohho!" He shook his head." Mera decision final, tum suggest Karo am listening." " Theme toh aqua orange hi hoga! Shadi toh Jodha Akbar theme hi hoga!"
" Nahi Bilkul nahi."
" Sir. " The Event manager cut them off as they stared at him. " Mujhe thoda kaam hai main aya, aap log decide kijiye." He ran as fast as he could, wiping his sweat.
" Tum toh mujhse pyaar hi nahi karte ab toh." Ajabdeh made a sad face like she was going to cry.
" Ab pyar kaha se aya beech mein?" He asked, confused.
" Bas nahi karte, pehle kaise meri har wish puri karte thee aur ab, nahi rahe tum mere Genie." To his surprise, she was sobbing.
" Ajabdeh!" He shook his head. " Tears se don't try to blackmail me, it's your old trick, I am not falling for that!" She stopped sobbing that instance and replied " damn!" that made him smile faintly. Pratap turned around to the point where the stage should be set for the Sangeet when she said " Dekho mera mehndi kaise rachi hai!" " Concentrate!" He replied sternly.
