And thus they spend 30 glorious years fighting with each other, all because of a royal Accident. Some people called it a mismatch, but to me, they are the most perfect match I will ever see!
The writer put down his pen.
" Are you done yet?" His wife came in with coffee. An eager child, barely three, peeped in.
" Dad!" He was impatient. " Tell me a story"
" Hush! You will ruin the surprise." He scolded.
" No, I won't," The boy shrugged, " Ranima TV dekh rahi hai aur Papa toh Bua ke saath Chess khel rahe hai niche." He informed me.
" Karan!" His mother scolded. "Don't disturb Dad."
" Aarti " He called as she stopped and turned back." One minute."
He took his pen and right below the last line he signed Amar Pratap Singh Sisodia.
" It's completed." He smiled.
" Let me be the first reader." She smiled enthusiastically.
A few days later,
" Karan! Who wants to help Ranima with some gardening?" Ajabdeh smiled. " Me Me Me!" The boy jumped as his mother smiled at the Palace lawn.
" Ranima, you spoil him too much." She said,
" I agree with Bhabs." Arohi nodded. She looked like Ajabdeh used to twenty years back in her bright rose Palazzo and printed tee.
" Princess! You forgot how Dadisa used to pamper you?" She frowned. " Nahi, itna bhi nahi karti thi Dadisa." She protested.
" Kya ho Raha hai?"
" Papa, aap batao, Bhabs and I were telling Ranima to pamper Karan too much!"
He stared at the ladies and then shook his head saying " Wrong timing Papa." That made them laugh.
" You are supposed to be on my side!" came a protest as Aarti promptly got up and took Karan's hand.
" Chalo Karan, time for some A B Cs." " But Mom. " He frowned.
Arohi looked at her parents as she got up then added,
" Ranima Papa please anniversary ke pehle no jhagra haa?" " Anniversary toh kal hai." Pratap shrugged.
" It's almost 24 hours!" Ajabdeh added.
" Aap ek din bina fight kiye can't stay?" She asked, amused. They looked at each other and Arohi left shaking her head like her father.
In the last 25 years...
Surajgarh was now a small town, where the villages had grown as well as the handicraft work there was now famous even outside Rajasthan. The college, hospital and all other welfare work were going well and the people were all in praise of Rana Pratap Singh and Rani Ajabdeh Punwar Singh for their endless efforts in making Surajgarh better. What made them happier was that Kunwar Amar Singh as well as Rajkumari Arohi Baisa also followed their parent's love for their small kingdom or so they called it. Heer and Shakti had helped their niece and nephew as far as they could after landing here for the surprise. Karan reminded Shakti a lot of Amar so he decided to call him Minion.
Heer's daughter Adhira was close to Arohi as she was only 3 years younger, leaving Amar annoyed all the time with their girly stuff ever since they were kids.
Ven and Rosalina had settled in Delhi ever since Aarti chose Amar after her schooling days with him in London. Their wedding was a grand one, with neon themes, as Pratap finally gave in to Ajabdeh's desires. Arohi was back from the US after a management course. She had the business brains of Pratap and would be joining to help him and Amar with the Hotel Empire as well as Surajgarh.
