It was back to work for me and the rest of the Penguins staff. We had a game tonight against the capitals before we flew off to Canada for a week long road trip, consisting of games against the Flames, Canucks, and Oilers. I know a lot of the Canadian boys were super excited to go on this road trip.

I was currently filling out some paper work on a couple of the injured guys when my door opened and in walked Brandon Sutter.

"Hey Becca," Brandon said sitting on the training table and doing his daily exercises for his knee. Brandon could still play he just had to make sure to do his exercises to ensure his knee would return to and stay in full health.

"Hey Brandon," I said smiling before continuing to do my work.

"You excited for the game tonight?" Brandon asked.

"As long as you guys can make it through the game with no injuries I'll be happy," I said chuckling.

"Won't we all," Brandon said laughing.

"Me need machine," Geno said coming in to my office.

"Sure thing sit down and let me get you ice," I said hopping up and making an ice bag for Geno before hooking him up to the stem machine.

"Geno you going to score tonight?" Brandon asked as he did the last set of his exercises.

"Yes. I am always score," Geno said nodding his head.

"Alright then I'm counting on a goal," Brandon said chuckling before walking out of the room. I just laughed shaking my head.

The national anthem was sung and now it was time for Sid to take puck drop. Right off the puck drop Sid won the puck and sent it back to Letang who had Olli on his other side. The energy both in the building and on the ice then exploded as the intense physical game started. See if you didn't know the capitals and the penguins are huge rivals and I mean HUGE rivals. Not quite as big as Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, but still big rivals none the less. Why? Of course because of none other than the rude, cocky, jerk also known as Alex Ovechkin. Alex was just a rude ruthless player even off the ice he was very cocky and rude, but oh well.

It was the end of the second and the penguins were currently down 2-0 against the capitals which of course pissed everyone off. I walked in the room and the air was tense. The anger was easy to see on the smelly hockey players faces. All of the guys were getting frustrated, but how could you not when you're losing against your rival. I quietly helped players stretch and do whatever else they needed during intermission.

"Let's go boys," I said as I fist bumped them as they headed out to the ice.

Physical and bloody where the only ways to describe the third period of play. The boys were getting in unnecessary fights because they were frustrated which resulted in the score being 4-0 in the favor of the capitals. I just finished sewing up Letangs lip as he took a high stick to the face.

I sighed in disappointment as the final buzzer went off. The capitals won 4-0 over the Penguins. Both the anger and sadness were on every players face. I checked in on all the players quickly before I had to get ready for the Canada road trip. We were flying out to Calgary tonight and had a day of rest before we had to actually play the Flames.

"I'm going to head home and grab my stuff," I said informing Dana before going out to my car. We all had to meet up at the airport in two hours.

I got home and moved my heavy black suitcase that had my name on it out to the car. I decided to change into something more comfortable since I didn't have to be dressed super nice like the players so I changed into a comfortable pair of jeans and a long sleeve penguins shirt throwing a baggy hoodie on top since I knew it would be cold in Canada. I heard a knock at my door and opened it to see a very sad looking Brandon Sutter.
