I'm working on this book right now (Have not abandoned my Brett Talbot fic [go check it out]). But things are going to look very different. Since I wrote this the first time, I've grown up... quite a lot mentally and physically. The original idea is from 2017-18... it's been a while. So, I decided to only write what was planned as the second book (AKA them in college).
There are a lot of reasons for moving to the second book, and most of them have to do with where I am in my life compared to where I was 4-5 years ago (holy shit that's a long time). But there is a lot to sort out. The plot wasn't exactly consistent, Johnny and Peter were quite toxic (get a 13-14 year old to write a couple and 9 times out of 10 they prob will be), and I had completely written out them being superheroes which I think is a large part of the Spidey-Torch ship (I also wrote Johnny and Peter as basically OCs which I'd like to fix).
A lot of the basics will still be here and their story from their teenage years will also be here and maybe I'll write a prequel or something someday if the book gets enough love.
This book will no longer be marked as mature. There was no reason for it to be in the first place, especially since I censored curse words and never planned on writing anything spicy or too traumatic.
For now, I am leaving up the original 10 or however many chapters that made it out, but just know I am seriously undertaking an effort to change things.
ALSO, THERE WILL BE A FACE CLAIM CHANGE FOR JOHNNY STORM
Froy Gutierrez is amazing and it's nothing against him. It's that he was a face claim for an OC first and that I can see Johnny as another person but not the OC.
