Chapter Thirteen - Keefe's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about the look on Fitzy's face when he saw me and Foster kissing. I had assumed he would still like her and would try to win her back but I never expected him to go full rage mode.
He had definitely changed. He's been acting odd for maybe 3 weeks but I haven't had a good chance to talk to Fitzy in a while.
I pondered the idea of talking to him before I went to sleep. I was about to drift off when a sweet voice filled my head. Foster's voice.
It said, "Sweet Dreams, Keefe." I guess she had transmitted to me. I grinned, glad to hear that warm voice of hers sound so relaxed. I pictured her smiling, just like I did every night before I fell asleep.
"Good Night, Foster."
- THE NEXT DAY -
I woke up the next day feeling very calm and relaxed. I put on some fresh clothes and started to work on the drawing of Foster that I would give her at our date. We were planning to go to Atlantis to a nice cafe.
I was about half way done the drawing when Ro burst into my room. I had thought she was in the dark corner of my room but I guess not. I raised my eyebrows.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
She smirked and said, "Well, I gave Daddy Dearest a potion thingy that makes his hair turn red."
I laughed.
"Hunkyhair! How was the date with Blondie???" She said, changing the topic.
I sighed and began to tell her the story. Half way through, my imparter buzzed. I frowned, knowing it wasn't Foster, she doesn't call this early.
I picked it up and saw Biana. But... Biana didn't look very Biana-like. Her eyes were red from possibly crying, her hair was messed up, and she had no makeup on.
"Keefe! Can you please come over to Everglen We can't find Fitz and we think he left or locked himself somewhere Have you seen him..." Biana said, sobbing in between words.
"Okay, settle down Biana. I'm sure he's somewhere. He's not here but I'll come over."
Biana took a deep breath. "Okay, thanks. Sophie's coming too."
I clicked the imparter off and hurried over to Everglen. I saw Sophie at the door, waiting for me.
"Hey." She said, as she gave me a peck on the cheek. I could tell she was hiding something by the feel of her emotions.
"What are you hiding, Foster?" I said, feeling a bit concerned.
She looked up at me. "Fitz left me a note." She inhaled and continued. "I think he put it in my room yesterday, but I didn't see it until this morning."
Wait, What? I thought to myself. "What does it say?"
Foster hesitated and then her eyes teared up. She tried to say something but no words came out. She clears her throat.
"He left." She said, whispering. Tears fell down her face. I put my arm around her, holding her close.
I took the paper from Foster and read the note.
Sophie,
I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm glad your with Keefe, you deserve someone better than me.
I'm leaving. I don't belong here anymore. I'm not as perfect as I may seem.
Don't come looking for me. Don't waste your time.
Take Care,
Fitz

Anyways, hope you liked this short chapter!
BTW, For the next chapter, I am going to skip 3 years into the future so the gang will all be 20/21 years old.
