"Mutagen?" You repeated and Donnie nodded. "No, I haven't...why?"
"Well, your blood sample isn't like Casey's." He said. "Casey has normal human DNA, but your's looks a lot different."
You shot a look to both April and Casey. A question lingered in your mind. Why did he only mention Casey?"And?" Leonardo says, edging Donnie to go on.
"And your cells aren't entirely human." Donnie said something you just plainly refused to believe. "It's like your base cell are human, but then Mutagen was later added into it. It like...like you slowly ate mutagen over time and it's mixed with your cells."
The look you were giving him, must have told him you don't believe him since he then started to defend himself. "I'm serious! You have Mutagen in your cells! I'm not making this up!"
"And you think any sane person would just drink something they aren't sure of? How stupid do you have to be for that?!" You yelled at him, standing on your feet.
"Did your Kraang parents ever give you anything that resembled this?" Donnie held up a canister filled with this glowing green liquid. You stared at it for a moment.
You hated the fact that it actually looked familiar. You walked towards the canister."If I did, then what would it do to me?" You asked, weary of the answer.
"Well...actually I'm not too sure." Donnie admits as you make an annoyed sound. "Wait...did, -did they actually feed you this?"
"Not directly, but at times they would put it in a jelly cup and freeze it. They told me I had to eat it. They only gave me it at night since I'd pass out after eating it. It taste really bad too." You stare at the mutagen, hate filling your eyes.
"How often was this?" Donnie asks, his voice a little croaky, as if he already knew the answer.
"Every month. On the 22nd. Ever since they adopted me." You look down. "I wanna kill them."
"I like her a little more now." Casey says, earning a harsh jab in the side from April.
"Listen, I get that your angry, but we need to think of a careful plan to carry out before we just bust in the doors." Leonardo said.
"Why not? By the look on Donnie's face, I'd say whatever this Mutagen stuff is might seriously mess me up. Oh, not to mention a pair of alien robots raised me since I was 6 and fed me that stuff for their own personal gains. Aaaand, that they both tried to kill me. Or that they made me go to Martial Arts for basically my entire life and they didn't let me do anything else until, like, a week ago!" You angrily blurted out.
"A week ago? Why?" Donnie suddenly perked up.
"I don't know, they just told to get ready for real school!" You said, fastly at the turtle.
Donnie then rushed to his computer and tapped away. Leonardo dropped his gaze on you and look over his shoulder at what Donnie was doing. Tired already of not being told things, you walked towards the pair and watched what Donnie was looking at.
Your eyes started to scan the seemingly endless page just everything about you. It had numerous photos of you doing daily tasks, walking, talking to people, there was one that Donnie just zoomed past, but you caught a glimpse of yourself beginning to take your top off to change. Nothing about this made you feel any better, in fact, it really just got worse.
Donnie then stops and slowly scrolled through the article on you, skim reading everything he could find. He then pointed at a paragraph and started to say what was written.
"The Kraang found the school April goes to and they made you go to the same school as well. It must be some plan of theirs." Donnie said, you looked up to April, knowing she was hiding something. "Okay here! Urr, dadadaa umm...." Donnie read the sentence and the following sentences.
"I think the Kraang wanted you as a weapon of some kind. The page has been re-written some times, and I think the Kraang wanted you to fight..us.""Huh?" Raph's hands went to his sais, his eyes going straight to you.
"Cool it Raph, she's not on their side...right?" Donnie looked up at you and you were offended.
"Wow, really? How low is the bar for me? Like hell I'm on their side." You scoffed.
Donnie read on. "It mentions the Mutagen. They were modifying it for a while and used you for testing it...It also says, that they wanted you to become a bit of a Mutant so you could withstand fighting us. But then it also says to fight other other enemies. I believe they wanted you to be their weapon."
"Dudes...that is wrong on so many levels." Mikey earns a slap from Raph. "...ow"
"If they wanted her to be a weapon, they would mean they would be looking for you." Leonardo, stands with his hands on his hips.
"Looking?" Donnie laughed. "They wouldn't just be looking. By all this information, they be searching every corner of New York, twice! Then do it all again!"
Mikey then gasped. "Leo! I have a super sick idea bro! Why doesn't she stay down here with us!"
You blinked, the smell of the sewers coincidently drifted back to your nose. You looked back to Leonardo. "Please, no."
"You don't have much of a choice." Leonardo then started to walk out the door. "I'll run it by Splinter."
You looked back to the brother, Donnie specifically. "I am not staying here. I have-"
"School? Martial art training? The Kraang may be stupid, but they would check those places first. And the only person you've ever talked to was April and Casey. You don't have much of a choice." Donnie smiled at you with smypathy. "We're not that bad, really. Just wait an hour or two after Mikey has gone to the bathroom."
"HEY!"
