10: Screw School

It had only been a few days since you started to live with the turtles, and by a few, you mean it was once a Friday night and now it's a Sunday afternoon. April came down time to time to give you some human company. She eventually explained to you why she said to stay down in the sewers with the turtles and you didn't believe her.
However, when she floated over a slice of pizza that you just had your mouth open in a bit of shock and you now had no idea what to believe.

Although, a new problem rose. It was always a problem, but it was a bigger issue now. It was School. *cue dramatic music*

"Okay, well school starts again tomorrow and if I don't show up, the police are going to get involved." You said to Donnie and Leo.

You were in Donnie's lab, but Donnie didn't have any experiments out. Leo was also here since he was the 'fearless leader' according to Raph. Speaking of Raph, he was currently running after Mikey who ate his pizza slice.
You, Donnie and Leo were all trying to figure out some ways to get you out of school for a while.

"Hmmm...and if the Kraang finally get their brain-cells together then they'll call for a search, meaning they'll be working with the police." Donnie lifted a hand to his chin.

"Donnie, can you get into the school's system and take Y/n off the list?" Leo suggested.

"I can try. Shouldn't be that hard." Donnie pushed his chair over to his computer and started typing away.

"...Ur, shouldn't you ask which school I go to?" You piped up after a few seconds.

"You go to the same school as April, right?" Donnie doesn't look up from his computer. "I know which one it is."

You raised and eye-brow and looked to Leo. He just sighed and shook his head. You instantly knew what this meant, and you turned back to Donnie with a smirk on your face.

"Simp." You did not say that quietly.

Donnie stopped typing for a second and looked up to you, tearing his eyes away from the scene. You gave you an annoyed facial expression before turning back to his computer and mimicking the words you say in high-pitched mocking voice.
"siMp."

Leo had bit the inside of his cheek to stop himself from cracking a smile, but a very small one cracked through. You sat up a little straighter, proud of yourself.

"Alright." Donnie leaned back. "I've taken you off for two months, that should give us some time to figure out what the Kraang want and how to stop them targeting you."

"Huh?" You knew Donnie was a tech genius and everything, but this would mean he had some serious skill. You pushed yourself off the chair and walked over to Donnie's side, leaning down to look at his computer. "Damn Donnie."

He smiled as the praise, looking proud of himself. He chuckled a bit as he leaned back into his chair. "I am pretty smart, aren't I."

You visibly heard Leo's eye's roll.

"Don't fed your ego." You stood up straight again. "But thanks man."

You heard the sound of the lab door's opening, you looked up to see who was walking in and your eye's fell on April. You went to greet her, but the sound of Donnie falling back in his chair and hitting the ground hard, made you turn your head.

"Hi April!" Donnie quickly got up and waved to her.

"You okay, Donnie?" April asked, looking a little concerned.
You looked to Donnie and then to the spot he fell before looking to Leo. He had the same expression on your face and he could only shrug.

"I'm awesome." Donnie smiled and closed his eyes.

April smiled and then walked over to you. "So, have you figured out what to do with school?"
