•Chapter Seven•

(Harry's POV)

I slide the key into the lock smoothly, twist and turn it a bit, then open the door. "Hey love-" I begin, but then I notice that something's wrong. The chair is in the middle of the room, like we left it, but no Ivy is on it. Tape litters the floor.

"She's gone!" Louis cries out.

"Again," I mutter under my breath, dropping the bag I'm holding and begin searching for Ivy.

(Ivy's POV)

I decide to go to Jade's house, since One Direction knows where I live.

I glance at the street name. Dundas Street. Ok, so Jade lives on Clarke Road, which is just down the road. I can get there quickly.

I walk to a corner and take a look at the street name. It's Clarke Road, thank goodness. I round the corner and spring down the sidewalk until I come to the entryway to the neighborhood.

As I'm searching, I walk past my house. A wave of homesickness washes over me and I want to go back in there, curl up under my blankets and pretend I was never kidnapped by One Direction. But I can't, since One Direction knows where I live.

I pull my gaze away from my house, walk a little farther and spot Jade's house. It's like my second home. I walk up to the door and knock three times, glancing around nervously.

(Jade's POV)

I hear a knock on the door. "Coming, coming!" I say impatiently.

My parents left for work, my brother is at his girlfriend's house and our teachers went on a sudden strike, so I'm home alone.

I run down the stairs, still holding my brush, and arrive at the door. I can make out the form of a girl through the stained glass.

I wrench open the door and find Ivy standing on my welcome mat. She's wearing a gray hoodie that's two sizes too big for her, a pair of jeans that she had to roll up and her regular old running shoes. Her chocolate brown hair is pulled to one side over her shoulder and her bright green eyes are darting around nervously, as of she expects someone to jump out of the bush.

"Ivy!" I scream in delight

(Ivy's POV)

Jade stands there, looking stunned. Her mouth is open in a perfect O. Her sky blue eyes are wide and her black hair is halfway brushed. She wears a pair of navy blue skinny jeans, a neon green hoodie and little penguin socks.

"Ivy!" she screams in delight, throwing her arms around me.

"Can I come inside?" I ask.

"Of course, of course," she says, hastily stepping back and allowing me to enter.

I quickly close the door behind me, slip off my shoes and run up the stairs to her bedroom.

"Are you ok Ives?" Jade asks, using my nickname. "You seem tense."

"I'm fine Jay Jay," I say. "Just a little worried.

"Why?" Jade is trying to hide her curiosity, but it creeps into her voice.

"I have something to tell you Jay-Jay," I say, sitting down on her room; her One Direction posters stare creepily down at me and I shiver. "You probably won't believe me-"

"Of course I'll believe you!" Jade interrupts quickly. "We've been bffwne since we first met in grade one."

I glance uneasily at her. "I know, but this story might sound a bit... Crazy and fake."
