Maya's POV:
All I could see was the sun setting in front of me as I sat in the field of a flower patch. Looking into the almost night sky, seeing it covered with star lights already.

This view is to kill for; I could never give it up.

All around me I heard birds speaking to each other through the rose sky; Hearing the sounds of the waterfall to my left where animals of all breeds were drinking from.

My life was perfect as it is, But of course it was made better.

From behind me, I heard a soft tune of music start playing. Not paying much attention to it, I started swaying my head to the music, while in the process of standing up to be able to feel the soil and earth in between my toes.

"You look beautiful May.", I whipped my head to the side, seeing Raiden, standing directly next to me leaning down to look at me with a bright smile on his face.

All I could do was smile back, who couldn't deny his amazing smile?

Before I could let a response fall out of my lips, I felt his grip around my waist as he turned me around to look at him.

"Dance with me, Mi amor..", I could feel my face heat up as he said this, Twirling me in a circle around him.

I gazed into his beautiful green eyes, falling in love every second more we danced. I felt his hands dance on my hips as he continued to Twirl me and hold me close as the music lyrics played into our minds. I leaned my head into his chest as we started to slow dance together which felt like we were in our own little universe.

Jolting awake I felt the little sweat bubbles on my forehead piling up.

Looking around me, I noticed that I was indeed not in the beautiful flower field, even though it felt so real.

Sighing, I leaned my head onto the headrest of my bed, thinking of everything that would happen if only the things in my occuring dreams would actually happen.

Maybe I would finally feel happiness within me? Where the deep black void stood empty, waiting for its next victim.

Well, first victim.

Before getting up, I checked the time on my watch, 3:30 am.

I slipped my legs from under the covers, to the ground where I slipped on my purple bunny slippers. I felt the goosebumps already starting to cover my legs. Maybe I shouldn't sleep in shorts and a tank top.

I went into the bathroom and reached for my toothbrush, but before looking into the mirror, I saw a glimpse of myself.

There she stood, staring at her own appearance in the mirror. With her blonde locks going down above her shoulders and dark brown eyes swimming with needed love. She looked like an angel, and matched that with her personality. Her curves rolled down to her hips with her beautiful tanned skin. The rosiness in her cheeks started to grow as she began more upset looking at her reflection.

God I should stop looking at myself now, including judging myself.

I walked out the restroom after putting my toothbrush back, maybe I just need to have a fresh breath of air before I start socializing with my family.

Pulling on some yoga leggings and a sports bra, I glanced down at my phone. 5:00 am.

Good enough for a walk!

No one is up yet, Which is sort of surprising as it's the weekend before the ball. I'm wishing that Titan won't be going though. This ball is important to the family, and him going might ruin our chances of actually making this alliance work.
