Chapter 11

Aiden's POV:

"God if you didn't have to piss we would've been there already.", Onyx growled at Titan, then looks over at Bethany. 

From where I was sitting I couldn't see much but from how he looked at her, she most likely either started crying or just got upset over the comment. 

Honestly I get it because of the pregnancy shit, but I need to be there. Something has been calling out to me for the past hour and it's getting annoying at this point.

It's as if he's humming in my head, constantly, telling me things to do. 

"It's not completely my fault, Aiden." He growled from my head. 

And he's moody. Alright.

I looked out the window to see the moon shining brightly in-between the tree's as we continue to drive. I can tell that everyone in the car is nervous about this ball, expect for Mira. 

She was seems so calm about everything.

At least she is sleeping now, not needing to hear all this annoying shit.

"We're about 5 minutes away you guys. Make sure you look presentable." She grimaced and turned back around in her seat.

From what I've heard dad talk about this vampire coven, they are supposedly the leaders of the vampires in a few countries. The family consists of some really A-holes, but some can be decent. Dad is good friends with the king, which is why my family is even doing this in the first place. 

At least our families both experienced bad things at the last balls.

I don't know the exact details about theirs, but all I know is it dealt with the King's eldest niece.

Hmmm..

Rolling my eyes, I look at the castle up ahead the road. 

From all the way back here, I can hear the music that's playing. Surprisingly it's quiet, which means someone's giving a speech or something happened. 

Hopefully it's the speech.

As we pull up, my head starts to tense up, and I can feel my heart-beat in my head, going off like an alarm.

Suddenly, I smell an amazing scent.

It's something of a mix of honey and daisies.

"Follow it Aiden.."

"A, you good ?" I quickly blink away the thoughts and look up to see Maya looking at me, with confused eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine."

Find it...

I quickly get out of the car, as everyone follows.

Soon enough we're at the door waiting for everything to get settled inside before we made our 'grand entrance'.

Father got in front, as mom stood next to him. In our pack they were equals. Not above each other, but next to each other. Then stood our brothers, and finally stood us three.

Mira was rubbing her eyes and whining about having to wake up as Onyx picked her up.

"Keep serious faces, unless you're talking to anyone.", I felt the message go through our heads as father mind-links us all. 

We nod in unison before finally, the doors are opened.

Suddenly everything else didn't matter. All I could focus on was the smell of honey and daisies. It started wavering into my sense, making me want to go to my knees.
