Aiden's POV:
I wanted her close to me even if it was wrong.
We were two different creatures, we shouldn't ever be together.
But I could still imagine us together.
From where I was standing, all I could imagine was running my fingers through her ginger locks, as she looked at me with all the love in her eyes.
But from the looks that I keep receiving from across the field, that won't be happening any-time soon.
"Aiden, go get mother and father.", I looked at Maya, breaking the eye contact.
I should, it would be the most responsible thing to do in this situation, but why couldn't Maya just do it? I don't want to leave Selene.
"No."
I saw as her eyes narrowed, crossing her arms in front of her.
"I agree with him Maya. If we get your parents it'll just cause chaos.", Hearing her voice again made my heart flutter.
God, I'm already falling for her.
She walked to Maya's side and rested her hand on her shoulder and sighed.
"We have to tell someone. There might be a way to fix this mess.", Maya started walking off back to the castle, picking up her ball gown slightly to get up the steps.
"You tell anyone, and I will make sure you regret it."
I saw her slightly pause and stiffen, but still continued up the stairs.
"Aiden..", I sighed and turned around to face the opposite of the castle.
"I don't want too hear it. We are supposed to meant for each other, just because we are different creatures shouldn't mean anything between us."
Soon enough I felt the once familiar sparks on my shoulder as she rested her head on my shoulder.
I looked next to me and saw her face calm, still even.
"I know Aiden. I want to be with you as much as you want to be with me, but sometimes fate isn't good enough."
I saw her lip wobble as she got back on her feet, picking up her dress at the end of it.
Quickly, I jumped up onto my feet and catched up to her, while reaching for her wrist.
Turning her to face me, I could see the tears glistening in her eyes.
I lifted her chin and kissed her forehead.
"Don't give up on me. Not yet at least, you haven't even given me a chance to prove myself to you yet.", she rested her head on my shoulder and nuzzled into my neck.
"Well isn't this cute."
Selene's head whipped to the side, hearing a slightly familiar voice.

also I know its been a while, I started up my classes again and I've been stuck with a writers block until listening to Spotify :).
