Single Parent (Yeonbin)

Yeonjun hummed softly as he sat at the small desk at the library. He was a part time employee at his local library and he worked the book checkout/in desk and helped people with their library cards and fines.

He was quietly reading his book when someone came up to the desk to check out a book. He looked up at the male with a smile. "Hi, checking out?" He asked the boy who, by the way, was very handsome. He nodded and handed Yeonjun the book and his library card. Yeonjun took them and swiped his card and scanned the book. "There you go. Hope to see you again." He said politely.

"Hey, wait, aren't you in my class?" The boy asked softly and Yeonjun tilted his head.

"Pardon?" Yeonjun was confused. He didn't recognize the boy from any class as he thought about it. The boy chuckled and smiled.

"I'm Choi Soobin. I believe we are in history together?" He asked. Yeonjun thought a bit more before gasping.

"I know you! I remember now, you're Jia's boyfriend, aren't you?" He asked at the realization. Soobin nodded.

"Yeah I am. Your name is Yeonjun, right?"

"Mhmm. Choi Yeonjun." He replied happily.

"Nice. Well, I'll see you Monday then Yeonjun hyung." He said, smiling at him with his dimple smile and a wink before he left the library with his book.

To say Yeonjun's heart was beating fast was an understatement. One of the hottest boys in his class called him hyung and winked at him. He lightly smacked his cheeks and shook his head.

'Chill out Yeonjun, you just "met" him formally for the first time, you can't already be in love' he thought before coming to his senses and going back to reading his book.

"You're telling me that THE Choi Soobin, who is dating that conniving little witch Jia, winked at you and called you hyung?" Taehyun asked with a raised brow while watching Yeonjun change Minjae's pull-up.

"Yes, that's exactly what happened. And you know what else? He checked out a book that has a gay protagonist couple." He said and Taehyun gasped softly.

"Soobin did?" Yeonjun nodded. "Hmm I would never have thought he'd like to read that stuff, though it doesn't really matter. If he likes it he likes it."

"Yeah, I wonder what his girlfriend thinks about it." Yeonjun added with a snicker and both boys laughed at that.

"Seriously. what does he see in her?"

"I hate how she acts all innocent in front of him then is a bitch when he's not around." Yeonjun said, to which Taehyun nodded in agreement.

"Not to mention she sleeps around with different guys every week. I'm surprised she hasn't slept with her own boyfriend yet."

"I don't know man. I think Soobin is against sex before marriage. I remember his brother saying Soobin wasn't planning on having sex with her until after they get married if it ever happens, so yeah." Taehyun said.

"He has a brother?"

"Yeah, his name is Beomgyu. Me and Hyuka may or may not have a crush on him" he admitted without hesitation.

"Oooohhhhh my besties have a crushhhhhhh~" Yeonjun nudged his arm to tease him before picking Minjae up and cuddling him.

"Mhmm. We're trying to figure out how we are going to confess to him. We don't want to scare him away, you know?" Yeonjun nodded in understanding and hummed.

"Well I wish you two good luck with that. Anyways, I should probably put Minnie to bed now, he's yawning a lot." He said as he looked at his son, who was rubbing his half closed eyes and nuzzling Yeonjun sleepily.

Taehyun smiled and kissed the small boy on the forehead, carefully moving his hair out of his face. "Alright. Goodnight Minnie and Hyung. I'll see you tomorrow." He replied as both boys got up.

Yeonjun left the room after saying goodnight to go to his own, changing Minjae into a onesie and putting him to bed in his crib. He pecked him on the nose softly and gently rubbed his cheek. "Nighty night, my love. Papa loves you so so much~" he said quietly before putting his blanket on him and then going to change into his own pajamas. He turned the light off after plugging in the baby's night light and got into bed, snuggling under the covers and falling asleep soon after.
