Twenty Two

Yeonjun hummed happily as he slipped on his converse shoes.

After that whole scene in the caféteria, some people slowly started coming up to both Soobin and Yeonjun, apologizing for their behavior and harsh words. Many people also started coming out to them both and sharing stories to them about their own struggles.

This made them really happy that these people were coming to them with this, because they were tired of people judging others for being who they are, and it made them feel heard.

It has been a whole month since then, and today, Soobin and Yeonjun decided to go shopping for baby stuff for their nursery. They had decided to change their spare bedroom into a nursery and playroom a while ago, but had been busy with other things, so they didn't have a lot of time. However, they both had a free day today from school and work, so that's why they decided on today.

"Minnie! Are you and Appa ready to go yet?" He asked from the kitchen, packing a cup or juice for the boy and some of his favorite snacks into his backpack.

The little boy came running out of his room, giggling as Soobin came out after, chasing him while laughing.

Minjae ran behind Yeonjun, who watched Soobin as he came closer.

"You can't escape the tickle master!" He said, holding his hands up. Minjae squealed, hiding more.

Yeonjun smiled and looked at Soobin, winking at him before quickly picking up Minjae, holding him so he couldn't escape.

Soobin used this chance to tickle the boy, who giggled uncontrollably while wiggling.

"Ahhhh! Stop Appa! It tickles!" He squealed while laughing.

Eventually the older stopped, placing a kiss on his and Yeonjun's foreheads. "Ahh you guys are so cute~"

Yeonjun hummed. "We know~" he said, kissing the toddler on the cheek. "We have to get going now, though, because the doctor's appointment is soon." He reminded, handing Soobin the backpack, while he put Minjae's shoes on.

Once they were all ready to go, they got into the car and drove to the doctor's office.

Yeonjun softly kicked his legs from on the chair. The desk lady let them into the test room, since the doctor wasn't there yet and was handling other business for a bit.

"Junnie~"

Yeonjun looked over to Soobin. Who was sitting in the waiting chair with Minjae on his lap, smiling happily. "Yes, Binnie?" He asked. Returning the smile.

"Are you excited to know our baby's gender?"

The older nodded, looking at his stomach and rubbing it a bit. "I'm very happy. I can't wait to finally know~" he said, looking back at the male.

Soobin nodded, looking down at Minjae. "What about you, bub? Do you think it will be a girl or a boy?"

Minjae put his hand on his chin, thinking hard before smiling widely and looking at the male. "I want it to be a girl, because I can protect her from meanies, and because I can play tea party and dolls with her!" He said, giggling, causing a contagious smile to spread to the two adults.

"You're so sweet Minnie~" Yeonjun complimented before the door opened, in coming the doctor.

"Good morning everybody~ it's great to see you all. You must be the father, right?" He asked Soobin, who nodded. "Well it's great to meet you! Yeonjun talks a lot about you during his checkups!" He said while getting his tools ready.

Soobin looked at the older with a smile. "Is that so~"

Yeonjun smiled back before the doctor came over to him. He lifted his shirt up so he could put the gel and scanner on his stomach, looking around the screen.
