It had been a few weeks since the incident with Jia, and she hadn't been bothering Yeonjun or his friends at all, so he was relieved.

He let out a small sigh as he watched the time on the clock til away slowly. Today wasn't anything special, and he didn't have any of his friends in this class to help pass time by.

He was about to lay his head down when he got tapped on the shoulder. He looked up to see a curly blonde haired boy . "Hello?"

The blonde smiled and bowed slightly. "Um, hi, I forgot my pencil case at home and was wondering if I could possibly borrow yours?" The boy asked.

"Oh, sure, one sec!" He said, reaching into his bag. He pulled out a couple of his pencils and handed them to the boy. "Here, you can keep them. I have plenty." He said, looking at him with a smile.

"Thanks! By the way, my name is Chris. Most people call me Chan or Bangchan. You can call me whatever you want, though. I'm friends with Soobin, as well!" He said cheerfully.

Yeonjun hummed, noticing that he did seem familiar and that he saw him with the younger often. "I'm Yeonjun, Soobin's other friend." He hummed in reply.

"I'm sure we could be friends too, since you get along with Bin." He declared with a grin.

They ended up talking and working together for the rest of class until it was time to go to lunch.

———

Yeonjun hummed as he watched his friends at the table. Taehyun, Kai, and Beomgyu we're all squeezed together, with the latter being in the middle of them. They had been non-stop flirting with each other ever since they finally told him that they were now in a polyamorous relationship together. He was very happy for them, seen as they had liked each other for a while now.

The oldest hummed softly as he continued eating. Yes he was a fourth wheel right now, but he didn't mind, since the boys deserve to oogle over each other after a long time. Soobin wasn't here yet because he had to help a teacher run an errand, so he was just waiting quietly.

Suddenly, he felt a liquid being poured over his head as people around him gasped fans whispered.

The couple in front of him saw who did it and we're not happy at all. Taehyun slammed his hands on the table and stood up.

"What the fuck Jia???!! Why did you do that??" He growled.

Jia only laughed out loud and frowned. "This little bitch took my Soobin away, along with all of the benefits of having him as my boyfriend!! He deserves to be treated like a piece of trash, because he is one!!"

Yeonjun just stared down at his food, not wanting to be here right now. However, Jia yanked his shoulder, causing him to turn around in his seat.

"You are really pathetic, you know that?? Everyone hates you and wishes you were gone! I fucking hate gay losers like you." She said, raising her hand to slap him, only for her arm to be snatched away and for her to be pushed to the floor.

Everyone looked at Soobin, who was beyond pissed off. He was practically fuming out the ears as he glared at the girl on the ground. "You're a fucking asshole, you know that? How pathetic do you have to be to make fun of someone just because they are gay or have a kid?" He said angrily.

Jia stood up and scoffed. "Soobin, be fucking for real, he's gay and has a child, not to mention he's a complete failure at life!" She said with a frown. "You should be with me, not with these losers you call friends.

Soobin frowned. "I'm never getting back together with you. I never loved you, and only dated you because I wanted to see if I like girls, which, now I know I fucking hate. So excuse me while my gay ass stays with my gay friends!!" He yelled, grabbing Yeonjun's hand and dragging him out of the cafeteria, leaving everyone in shock.

———

Soobin took Yeonjun to the locker rooms so he could take a shower to get the milk off of him. He let him use his extra clothes too, since his were soaking wet.

Yeonjun came out from where he was getting dressed and saw Soobin playing with his fingers. He sat down next to him against the lockers, leaning his head back.

"Thank you.." he said softly.

Soobin looked up at him and smiled. "Anything for you, hyung. I'm sorry you had to go through that because of me.

Yeonjun shook his head and laid it on the younger's shoulder. "It's not your fault. Some people are just out to get others all the time for no reason.

Soobin nodded, laying his head on top of the other's. Yeonjun's heart skipped a beat as they sat there.

He never would've thought that Soobin would ever be calm like this to him since he always seemed so far away until they became friends. Yeonjun noticed that, whenever he was around the taller, his heart would quicken its pace and his cheeks sometimes heated up.

He knew what was happening the first time it happened and was scared of the feeling, since he didn't want to make Soobin uncomfortable around him or ruin their friendship. He knew that he could never be with him, so he kept it hidden that he likes him.

Yeonjun felt Soobin sit up. "Well, it's almost time to go home now. I have to help my parents with something." He said standing up. He held his hand out in front of him towards Yeonjun with a smile on his face.

"Let's go, shall we?" He said, face practically glowing.

Yeonjun, with innocent doe eyes, grabbed his hand and stood up.

Yeah, he was definitely in love. Nobody could deny that truth.
