Chapter 5

            My cheeks redden, and I close my eyes.

Euphoria has me on cloud nine.

Is this what getting into a romantic relationship feels like?

Taehyung pulls out the kiss. My heart beats louder as I feel so shy. I keep my eyes closed too.

"I really like you" says him.

My heart skips a beat. I'm flattered again. But I swear to God, I can't open my eyes now. I'm really shy.

"Y/n?" He calls me.

I press my lips and open my eyes slowly. "Yes?"

He curves a smile at me. "You're so shy," he says, and he caresses my hair.

I can't look at him in my eyes, so I lower my gaze. I feel my face red too and it's so awkward. Shit, I don't know what to do.

"Let's dating. I want to get in relationship with you" says him.

My eyes widen, and I look at him in the eyes with a shock.

"Dating? Doesn't it violate the contract? As well as yours..." I say.

"Um, so what?"

I bite my lips slightly. He looks as if he doesn't care, but I can't.

"Contracts are not important. What's important is if you like me, too. Do you like me, y/n?" he asks me.

"I... I-" My mouth shuts when I see how seriously he is waiting for my answer.

"What?" he asks me.

"I don't know," I say.

"No, you know. Tell me if you like me or not," says him.

"I-I... I don't know," I say, and I bite my lower lip.

"Because you don't want to violate the company's contract?" he asks me.

I lower my gaze. "Yeah. I'm afraid to be caught. I really want to get to my debut. We can be friends in the meantime"

"Friends?" he asks, surprised, then shoves his face into mine.

I look at him with a serious gaze.

"Honestly, I want to hug you, I want to kiss you, I want to do what people in relationships are doing with you. Friends can't do that. I don't want to be your friend," says him, and he waits for me to say something.

"I-I..." I shut my lips because I really don't know what to say.

"You don't like me? Am I getting friendzoned?" asks him.

"No," I quickly say when he sounds so disappointed.

"Then? Company, huh?"

I nod.

"So, you're never dating before? Because you came here when you was 15" asks him.

"Um... What about you?" I ask him back and I'm impatient waiting for his answer. I'm quite curious about life dating as an idol.

His gaze is getting stronger, looking at me. "I have dated before," says the man.

My eyes flatter. Like I expected, the idols must be dating too. "How many?"

"Two times"

"Oh, when was the last time?"

He tilts his head. "You look so interested about me" says him.

I bite my lower lips, then I lower my gaze. "I'm sorry. I must make you uncomfortable, I'm sorry"

"No, that's not what I mean," he says, pausing.
