Explore With Me [A Chaesoo Story]

Chapter 3

Chaeyoung carries her on her back and walks for another few minutes. Then, she sets up the tent and lays her in the tent.

Chaeyoung cleans Jisoo's face full of dirt and dust. She then walks out of the tent and decides to walk for some more time. Midway, she finds the 2 other explorers.

"Did you find out too?" One of them asked.

"Find out what?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Every backpack has different things and I have a flare but the flare doesn't work." The other explorer said.

"The flare doesn't work?" Chaeyoung immediately opens up her backpack to use the flare. And sure enough, the flare doesn't work.

"Fuck, do you guys want to work together? There is another explorer, follow me." Chaeyoung starts going back to the tent.

The 2 explorers follow her.

"I'm Jennie and she's Lisa." A girl in black hair said.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Chaeyoung."

After a while of walking, they arrive back in the tent. Jisoo was still unconscious inside.

"She fainted when we were walking, she was already feeling unwell." Chaeyoung explained.

"This tent is sick." Lisa beamed.

"Speaking of, what do you guys have in your backpacks?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Food, water, sleeping bag, inflatable pillow, clothes and a torch." Jennie replied.

"I have a blanket, a cushion, clothes, food and a first aid kit." Lisa shared.

"You guys can set up your things in here." Chaeyoung tells them. 

"I don't need the pillow, do you want it?" Jennie asked.

"Sure." Chaeyoung replied. "Thanks."

They eat a bit before getting back to work.

"I'm going to go collect some firewood." Lisa got up and grabbed a bag before walking out of the tent. 

Chaeyoung continues to take care of Jisoo. Jennie goes to find plants to extract the water from the roots.

Jisoo suddenly wakes up to find Chaeyoung taking care of her. Chaeyoung gave her some food and water.

"You should eat, it'll help you recover. How are you feeling?" Chaeyoung asked with concern.

"I'm fine." Jisoo started eating.

"Do you think you can walk tomorrow?" Chaeyoung asked.

"I can." Jisoo replied.

"You should get some rest, tomorrow is going to be a long day. And also, the rest of the explorers are all here." Chaeyoung tells her. "I'll introduce them tomorrow, you can go rest." Chaeyoung was about to leave the tent when she felt a tug from her sleeve.

Jisoo was pulling her sleeve.

"Do you want me to.." 

Jisoo nods. Chaeyoung lays beside Jisoo, playing with her face. Suddenly, Jisoo pulls Chaeyoung's face closer and they kiss. Chaeyoung's face reddens. Jisoo cuddles with Chaeyoung and they both slowly fall asleep.
