Mack's POV
I woke up early so I could walk to Ry's house and be the first one to tell him happy birthday.
I took a quick shower and then got dressed to a red dress and black heels.
I curled my hair and brushed my teeth. I then put on make up and I was ready. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. I saw Justin sitting on the couch and I sat next to him.
"Hey dad."
"Hey sweetie."
"Can I go to Ryan's house?"
"Sure. Why are you dressed up so fancy?"
"Oh it's Ryan's birthday and his birthday party is at his house."
"It's Ryan's birthday today?" He questioned.
"Yeah. I want to be the first one to tell him happy birthday."
He nodded, "okay do you want me to take you?"
"Yeah please."
He nodded and walked upstairs. A few minutes later he came down wearing black sweatpants with a white tee and his white supras. "Alright let's go," he said grabbing his keys.
We walked out of the house and got in the car. On the way to Ryan's I turned on the radio. There was no good songs on the radio so I plugged in my phone and put on Billboard by Jacob Whitesides.
I sang along with Jacob and turned to look at my dad and he was smiling at me. "What?"
"You're just so talented."
I smiled, "thank you dad."
I continued to sing the song and then I heard Justin chuckling. "What now?"
"You really need to meet him."
I nodded my head quickly. "Yes I do! He's like my favorite!"
He glared at me, "favorite person? I'm suppose to be your favorite person."
"Oh um yeah he's my favorite person after you," I said laughing nervously.
"Mhmm better," he said. The car got silent after that as we drove to Ryan's.
"Hey dad?"
He glanced at me before he put his eyes back on the road. "Yeah?"
"Thank you for everything. If it weren't for you I'd probably be miserable and depressed. I'm not saying I hated being in the orphanage because I'm so grateful for the people there but I'd rather be with you more than anyone. I'm happier with you and I have a dad again that cares for me and I know that you'll never leave me so thank you for just everything you've done and everything you're gonna do for me in the future."
He looked at me and smiled widely. "I would never leave you Mackenzie, ever in a billion years. You mean the world to me. I could never see my life without you. I love you so much baby."
