Jose returns conflict with Andrew

Back with Tacoman group.

Jose is out of breath panting and stumbling he walks up to Andrew and Sophie who are outside watching the cops take the villains away. Jose collapsed from exhaustion. "I didn't find him. I looked around the block and didn't see a sign of Tacoman or the Boss ennyware." Jose spoke in between breaths trying to keep it together.

"You need to tell us what happened so we can help think where they may have gone." Andrew spoke with a stern voice, while Sophie lent over asking. "Are you ok?"

Jose sits up and lens against the wall. "Me and Tacoman went after the boss. Once we got in the hallway the champ and another guy started shooting at us, Tacoman took cover and i ran up trying to close the distance. As I got closer it became clear I couldn't reach them. because as i got closer i had less and less time to doge. So I went straight for the champ but as soon as I got to him we fought for a bit. I almost had him but before I knew it he fired a point blank blast all i could do was jump as hard as I could away from the blast so jumped up into the ceiling to avoid the attack.

I was lucky he thought I was incinerated so I stayed in the ceiling. He didn't notice the hole, lucky because between the two of them shooting at us the lights were knocked out. While I was in the ceiling I heard Tacoman antagonize the Champ and Tacoman possession him over the hole I dropped and killed him before he knew what happened. After I killed the champ, me and Tacoman ran after the boss. We Caught up to the boss when he stopped to pick up the boy. As we got closer the Boss started to run with the boy and the other villain tried to stop us. Tacoman and I took him out and proceeded to chase the Boss.

I was gaining on the Boss so for a distraction he threw the kid out the window and he ran down the stairwell. I chased him. I was running as fast as I could but he ran through the exit and he put something in the way so I couldn't open the door. I'm not sure how but the next thing I knew Tacoman was on the other side of the door, him and boss started arguing.

I tried to open the door but like I said he must have jammed it, so I started slamming myself into the door and by the time I opened the door, they were gone. All I saw was the kid, I tried to find them but I had no luck." Jose said.

"Why did you say Tacoman appeared on the other side of the door?" Andrew said.

"I don't know how he appeared on the other side of the door." Jose said, looking up, seeing Andrew clenching his fist.

"Really? Tacoman just gets kidnaped and you didn't see it and you pretend like you don't know what happened. What did he jump out the window? come on Tacoman is dum but even he knows the kid wood have hit the ground before he could have jumped and saved him. So he didn't try to save him. Tacoman knew the fall would hurt the kid and not kill him so he wouldn't have risked it." Andrew said getting closer to Jose.

"Look, I don't know what happened, I tried. If I was faster or stronger I could have stopped the boss and now Tacoman is gone." Jose said, while choking back tears.

"You said you killed the champ, but there is no body. So what really happened?" Andrew said.

"What do you mean, I turned his head around. His body should be in the middle of the hallway." Jose said.

"So you want us to believe you killed Champ and the body disappeared. You are the strongest on the team and you couldn't open the door." Andrew said.

Sophie interrupted. "His power was fire based, maybe his power burned his body."

Andrew said, grabbing Jose by his shirt collar. "Or Jose is still working for the boss! He told us to go to the shipping yard and then we got jumped by 20 guys. We should be dead but we were lucky. The champ is presumably dead with no body and the boss took Tacoman. Not to mention we lost contact with Ronnie because he went in a tunnel so we don't know if they are ok. All of this seems to be a little suspect, don't you think?"

"I swear! . . . I'm not working for the Boss! . . I just wasn't strong enough! . . . I wasn't strong enough!" Jose said, trying not to cry but he couldn't help shedding a few tears.

"Really whose fault was that? You did no training while we all were working are asses off. All you did was sit on your ass and played. while we all were trying to be better heroes." Andrew said, Jose grabbed Andrew's arm. Andrew closed his eyes and let Jose go.

"I don't need to listen to this, see you later. Call me if you find out anything about Tacoman." Jose said while wiping his tears and started to walk away.
