As this happens we could see a girl and has light gray hair and darker gray eyes, Her name is Bronya Zaychik, A Veteran Valkyrie and The Herrscher of Reason, the 1st Herrscher that led humanity to fight against the Honkai, that disappeared 8 years ago due to a sacrifice that her friend made... 

But what is this Honkai, Honkai is largely viewed as a malevolent force with a will of its own, able to corrupt humans into undead creatures, manifest itself in the form of various monsters and could cause natural disasters and plagues

And what is a Herrscher, they are select various individuals known that are imbue with god-like powers able to trigger apocalyptic events and could bend the laws of reality in there will, which almost ended human civilization 50,000 years ago.

As she turned off the alarm she takes a bath and then eat the food she made as her Breakfast and then lefts her apartment to check Raiden Mei and her squads condition

A week ago, Raiden's squad were tasked to bring back Welt Yang and Joyce outside the city of St. Fountain, a city that's usually buzzing with life and entertainment now reduced to empty buildings and dust. Her squad expects for the worst, but what they have are still to be enough to what they had encountered. A man that looks like Otto Apocalypse, him assisting the Sky People, and the monster that wiped 2 of the squad's members to unconsciousness.

Carol Peppers, and her Squad Leader Mei Raiden and her squad mate Adam, managed to hold out until Bronya's squad was sent by Schicksal managed to seek them out and help them escape

As they aided Raiden's squad in St. Fountain, and eventually escaped from harm. Adam and Mei are sent on a medical facility immediately after receiving fatal wounds. Adam's Honkai corruption has reached it's extremes. Though they are able to prevent the corruption happening in his body, there are still much left before it stabilizes.

Originally, Bronya was suppose to be on a patrol, but Principal Theresa gave her a day off, requested by Lyle Collodi and Timido Cute, members of Schicksal Squad 2, the squad she is currently leading for the meantime

But since she is on day off she headed to the grocery to buy some food for a old man that she met 2 years ago, during one of her missions, before she headed to the infirmary where Raiden Mei is

At first, she thought he was already infected with Honkai or an enemy, but surprisingly he is immune to it and gave her some tips on how she could deal the "Sky People", Alien organisms of unknown origin that made their presence to  Anti-Entropy and Schicksal, after the Honkai disappeared, and they've been probing around Earth for quite a long time now

And to her surprise the old mans word were true and she asked the old man knew those, but the man only tells her, that he only observed them, nothing more, nothing less

Eventually she had to take old man somewhere due to the house he is living was destroyed

And so Bronya, who is a kindhearted person she is, used some of her money that she had earned as a game developer, since she is not beeded all the time to fight, to build a small house for the Old man, which was at the mountains where he could see the city fully and so he could breathe some fresh air

What make Bronya interested at the old man is he is different from the others, he is understanding, good at giving some advice that Bronya used to help her friends, especially Mei who missed there friend who was now at the moon to seal the honkai there
