I arrived at work bright and early, eager to start the day after having a short day yesterday. As I entered the office, I noticed Alpha engrossed in his computer.

When he saw me, there was a hint of awkwardness in his gaze. Just before I looked away but I caught a glimpse of a small smile forming on his lips.

Handsome...I couldn't help but think.

"How are you?" I greeted him.

"Good morning, Sir!" he responded.

We accidentally spoke in unison, and it brought a moment of confusion and amusement. I wanted to laugh, as we both hesitated, unsure of who should speak first. I decided to let him take the lead. "Good morning," he finally said.

Clearing my throat, I replied, "I had a good night's sleep, Sir Eros."

"Please drop the 'sir' when we're alone in my office. Just call me Eros," he requested.

It was a difficult adjustment for me, especially in a professional setting. I understood his intention, but I was a bit stubborn. Alpha wanted me to be more comfortable, but I struggled with embracing change. They say that unless I push myself to do something, I won't find true comfort.

"I understand," he just said with a small nod. He let out a deep sigh, and I could see a tinge of sadness on his face. He returned his focus to the computer, seemingly reverting to his role as my boss.

I didn't want things to be like this between us. It hurt me too. "Eros..." I called out, and he paused, slowly turning his gaze towards me. "Should I add the words 'I love you'?"

Suddenly, his face lit up, a wide smile spreading across his lips. He could barely contain his excitement, almost on the verge of standing up. "Yes, please..."

He took a step closer to me, and I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. I kept my eyes fixed on him, even if it was unfamiliar territory for me. Deep down, I loved him, but my mind wasn't quite ready to accept him as my mate.

Nevertheless, I knew it was time to open my heart and embrace the truth.

He stood before me, and I clutched my shoulder bag tightly. My heart skipped a beat, yet I maintained my gaze, smiling as I spoke the magical words, "I love you, my Alpha!"

His eyes sparkled, and I witnessed that handsome smile of his once again. It wasn't a sarcastic smile. it was a smile of genuine joy, knowing that I was there before him, confessing my love. I felt a voiceless scream rise within me as he wrapped his arms around my waist, drawing me closer to his warm body. I could sense the intensity of his passion, as it coursed through my veins, igniting a fire within me.

His palm gently caressed my left cheek, his touch soothing and comforting. He leaned in closer and whispered, "I love you, my Luna." I smiled, and as he leaned down, our lips finally met.

This was our third kiss, and I knew it wouldn't be our last. In that moment, I cherished every sensation, savoring the connection between us.

Each movement of his lips sent delightful shivers down my spine, and my inner wolf reveled in the blissful experience. He held me tighter, prolonging the kiss, delving deeper into our shared affection. I couldn't resist raising my arms, wrapping them around his neck, as if to hold onto this precious moment.

It felt like I had emerged victorious from a remarkable battle. I could sense a surge of newfound energy flowing into my being. My wolf felt stronger and healthier, and I knew that his wolf felt the same.

"Since you became sir Eros' secretary, we rarely get to spend time with you," Bella grumbled, stirring her milkshake.

Today was a rare occasion that I could join them for lunch, as most days were consumed by my duties with Alpha. It was a necessary precaution to keep my distance from them, considering that my wolf could still be unpredictable, especially when emotions ran high.
