Your POV
Slowly my eyes flickered open and the bright and white ceiling of a familiar hospital room greeted me.
"Ah, Y/n-san, you're finally awake. Please wait, I'll just call the doctor." The nurse who took care of me when I woke up from my coma said but before she took off I grabbed her wrist.
"Is he here?" I asked, my voice hoarse and dry for the days I was unconscious.
"Hmm? Ah, you mean your husband? Akihiko-san dropped by earlier but he left in a hurry and says he'll come back. If you want I can call him while the doctor checked you." She said with a warm smile.
That thing is not my husband.
"No need, I'll just wait." I said with a soft smile as I let her go to call the doctor in to check on my condition. As I wait, I poured water for myself and looked distantly out the window.
I had a very long dream, no, I'm sure that those are my memories. In my past family, the father abused and assaulted an innocent daughter. My adoptive parents helped me through it all and Manjiro...
With that said, there are still a lot of things that I can't remember but it's best not to force it or I might go through that excruciating pain once more.
Not long later the doctor came in and checked how I was and asked a few questions, he concluded that I was alright and just needed some rest. After they left me be, I looked around the room to check if Akihiko left something to spy on me but it seemed like there was none.
With a sigh of relief, I looked at the bag of clothes near me. He really is acting like a husband and it makes me sick. Grabbing the most comfortable thing to wear, I changed my clothes and removed the IV that was connected to me.
There's no point in staying and confronting Akihiko, I need to leave and go back.
Back to my real family.
Rindou's POV
After days of trying to track down Akihiko's right-hand man, we finally had a lead. We found and saw Kenta and talked to him for a few days but I wasn't able to see him with Akihiko or Y/n. We could just take him and interrogate but his personality is almost the same as Sanzu, but a bit more docile. I doubt he'll bark up some information, if we kill him we'll lose our lead to find my brother and Y/n.
Everyone's been on edge, especially Mikey. One wrong move and he'll kill us all.
"Target's on the move. Follow closely and don't lose him" Takeomi said through the earpiece I was wearing.
"Got it" I answered and slowly tailed him. After a few meters of walking, he drove a car.
"Target's using a vehicle." I reported.
"Finally, thought I'll just sleep through this mission." Sanzu said and took over and followed Kenta's car. Soon, Mochi came with a car and picked me up to catch up with them.
