Chapter 6: The Birthday of Not Flame Spirit [Part 2]

"So....Onii-chan....I can tell you to do whatever I want....for the entire day....and you won't reject anything that I say?" Kotori asked as she looked at Shido who sat at the couch with a deadpan stare.

"I'm regretting this already." Shido thought as he answered her question. "Yes, but only if I can do it."

Kotori then got a smirk on her face with the power Shido had just given her. She was going to enjoy this.

"Maybe this won't be a bad birthday." Kotori thought as she then started to think what she wanted her brother to do for her.

"Run faster Onii-chan!" Kotori was currently enjoying being given a piggyback ride on Shido's shoulders as he ran down the streets and towards a playground area near their home.

"I should've worn lighter clothing." Shido thought with a tired face as he was sweating quite a lot from the physical activity he barely ever does and the clothing choice for what he's wearing.

Shido was wearing a slightly baggy dark blue zipper hoodie, black pants that covered his entire legs and black socks and running dark blue shoes.

"I hate this....but it will be worth it." Shido thought as he finally reached the playground.

"O-Okay *gasp* *huff* you can get down now.....Oh god I should've tried working out more in this life." Shido gasped for air as he was exhausted from giving Kotori a piggyback ride and running here at the playground.

Kotori got off as she giggled at Shido, finding his pain amusing.

"Hmm...?" Kotori now thought on what to do next. A minute passed and she had already decided what to do next. "Onii-chan, push me on those swings."

Shido looked at Kotori who had a playful grin on her face and was pointing towards the swingset on the playground.

Shido merely shrugged and responded with a hum as he agreed to her request. He watched as Kotori sat on the swing as she held on to the chains holding the swing seat.

Shido started slow in pushing Kotori on the swingset as he slowly added more force in his push.

"Higher!" Kotori grinned as she was enjoying her time on the swingset as she swung back and forth a bit dangerously high off the ground with a risk of falling.

"You'll fall."

"Onii-chan higher!"

"You'll get hurt."

"You said you'll do anything as long as you can do it?!"

"Yes, and this is one of those. I cannot push you higher or else you'll get hurt."

Kotori huffed in annoyance at not being pushed to go higher. She then started to swing her legs to attempt to go higher with her momentum with her swinging.

Shido saw this as he thought. "I could stop her....but then again she's doing this to herself....well I warned her, not my fault if she falls."

Shido then pulled out his phone as he sat on the swingset next to her. He started to check on fanfics while simultaneously keeping an eye on Kotori.
