Happy Birthday Jungkook. Enjoy this special JK birthday chapter.
It was a late night last night after the mall. We stayed up and watched movies. And talked for hours. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up in bed. Nobody with me. I check the time. Ah yes I got to sleep in. I have exactly 5 hours until Jungkook and the boys get back. I eagerly run downstairs to Sonjae's room and gingerly knock.
"Good morning Sonjae." I say with a bow.
"Good morning miss Lisse." He says with a yawn.
"I. I um. I need to go to the grocery store."
"Yes of course miss Lisse. I will go grab the car."
I smile and hurry back upstairs. I throw on a hoodie and some shorts and decide on my moccasins to wear. I run out to the car.
I mentally make a list Cake Frosting Treats Snacks Candles Balloons Streamers Banana milk
Sonjae pulls up to the local market. I happily walk out and nearly run into the store. My package will be here soon with his gift. First things first cake. Walking to the baking aisle I noticed a small bakery with a cute little purple cake. Its already made but it is indeed perfect. Grabbing a happy birthday stick in and some candles I move onto the baked goods grabbing several cookie and dessert trays. I smile at the food and then continue on to chips. Grabbing an array of chipbags and soft drinks I stop at the section of soju and decide to buy a bunch of those too. This is all perfect.
Getting more towards the convince side of the store I spy a bunch of balloons and party decorations. Grabbing a bunch of balloons and streamers i throw into my cart and wrap the balloon strings around the handle I make my way to check out.
I make my way to Sonjae who is outside and his jaw drops. "Uh..um... Miss Lisse... how are we going to fit that many balloons in the car?"
"Easy" I smile at him "watch."
I start shoving the dozen of balloons into the car and then slap the food and desserts into the trunk. Smushing myself in the back seat with the balloons I grin. He's not going to expect a single thing.
"Miss Lisse I will bring everything in. So I will meet you upstairs okay?"
"No, nonsense I'll help."
"Miss Lisse it's okay."
Without saying anything further I head to the trunk and grab the bags of snacks and desserts and the cake. "Sonjae please grab the balloons."
He nods and I bow and head upstairs. Now to set up the kitchen and living room. Pushing the couch against the wall and setting up the living room was easy. I smile and pretend to wipe my hands. Sonjae nods with a smile. "He will like this."
I smile back and head to the kitchen.
