Not canon, this a what if scenario.

Basically what if everyone who died to the monsters of the upside down (And not any other way) survived instead, their bodies were simply never found so they were merely assumed dead or missing, but are trapped forever in the upside down, even when they find a gate they are unable to leave as it's like an invisible force that's blocking them from leaving.

Our OCs and the rest of the crew end up having to head to the upside down again for whatever reason and run into (my OC's crush and Your's). This will be different if their crush doesn't die in the series, if your OC's crush doesn't die in the series then instead they will be with the rest of the group. (If crush is alive, you can change it up so as it's your OC that had "died")

Anyways, they run into (One-if only one of our OCs' crushes died) or (two- if both of our OCs' crushes died) of the people they could have sworn had died. They try to free them but realise they can't, now it's up to them to figure out a way to get them out.

So, OCs and such would probably act different due to the supposed "death" of the ones they loved.

The only OCs I will use in this scenario are either Melly or Noelle.

If I use Noelle, her cheerful nature is gone. She has a hard time controlling her emotions and breaks down much easier. She is also a lot more snappy and sarcastic.

If I use Melly, we switch it so as she's the one who "Died" as her crush doesn't die in the show.
