OC is the son/daughter of the owner of a record label all while also running an orphanage for little girls. When their father who owns the label dies, OC takes over half the company, their father's business partner takes over the other half and starts changing everything, including bringing in a...interesting band to be the face of the label.
Displeased OC wants to find a solution. They return to the orphanage they run and live in, to find a box on their dresser containing earrings. It turns out there is an ai connected to the earrings that also allows the image over the wearer..a hologram. That allows OC to create an alter ego..and become a singer. OC forms a band with their friends and gets that band to compete in the battle of the bands hosted by the one who took over the label with OC.
The condition if they win, OC (not their alter ego obviously) takes over the whole record label to preserve their father's legacy.
(In this Crush and OC are already dating to begin with, but crush does not know about OCs alter ego, instead believing they are two completely different people. But eventually Crush finds out)
