Kazuha smiled, "we'll meet again."
Kunikuzushi forced a smile, "if it's worth anything, I enjoyed having your company."
"Come find me in Liyue," Kazuha took his hand, "I'd be delighted to speak with you again."
Kunikuzushi didn't want to see Kazuha go, even if it caused him pain whenever Kazuha looked at him. He didn't want to be alone again. He couldn't help that his eyes filled with tears.
Kazuha embraced him, "I know we'll meet again."
Kunikuzushi hugged him back, whispering, "you don't know that..."
Kazuha nodded, "I do. Someone like you is bound to end up in an Epic, and I'm going to be the one to write it."
Kunikuzushi held onto him tightly, "I still don't understand why you think so highly of me."
Kazuha chuckled, "you don't need to understand, Kunikuzushi. I know you're really important." He let go, "in the meantime, I'll be back to my wandering. Make sure you keep watch over me, oh great Archon of Wandering." He bowed deeply as he backed onto the boat.
Kunikuzushi smiled, "still not an Archon."
"It's close enough," Kazuha was glad to see him smile again. "Think of me whenever the wind blows."
Kunikuzushi nodded, "please don't die, Kazuha..."
"I won't."
Kunikuzushi knew he was never going to see him again. There was no chance. Kunikuzushi would continue to live on forever while Kazuha would eventually grow old and die...
Every time someone finds their way to Tsurumi Island Kunikuzushi is always sad to see them go. But he hadn't grow as attached to anyone as much as he had to Kazuha.
